Preset v1.2 is available for The Division 2

Changelog: Better sunny daytime visuals . Decreased haziness for specific weather conditions . Brighter night/indoor . Overall color grading

Preset Showcase: https://youtu.be/da6YQRbSI28

Quick guide: --------------------------------------------------------------------

01. Download Reshade: https://reshade.me/ and run downloaded file

02. Press Browse, find and select (TheDivision2.exe) from your TheDivision2 folder

03. Choose the proper rendering API (For this game select DirectX 10/11/12)

04. Select and download all effect (shader) packages

05. Download my Reshade Preset(s) archive(s), extract it and put extracted files (.ini files and the reshade-shaders folder) into the game folder where the .exe file is located (Overwrite if asks)

07. Check ingame Reshade interface. You should see these shaders below as active in this order:

LUT@LUT.fx,

Blooming_HDR@BloomingHDR.fx,

AmbientLight@AmbientLight.fx,

FlexibleCA@FlexibleCA.fx,

Clarity@Clarity.fx,

AMD FidelityFX ContrastAdaptiveSharpening@CAS.fx

To get the best visuals, Always run presets with all the shaders listed above.

But for The Division 2_Preset v1.2 Preset you can disable AmbientLight, Clarity or FlexibleCA if you need more fps.

Note: If the Quick Guide does not answer all your questions, you can watch step-by-step video tutorials on how to install Reshade and set up the in-game overlay, Also how to install RTGI shader and configure Depth Buffer properly here:

Reshade Installation and Setup Guide

. . .

Important: Preset was tweaked and tested in Non-HDR game/monitor mode. It may not look decent in HDR mode. So make sure the HDR mode is deactivated in your in-game Display/Graphics settings. Also disable HDR for your Monitor, or set HDR level to low and try to tweak preset using extra shaders like: LevelsPlus, PD80_03_Levels or curves by yourself.

I plan to release HDR presets separately in the future if the project runs well with your support.

Note: Some shaders may give a very subtle effect in some areas. However, they have a significant impact on other environments. So don't turn off any shaders if you want the preset to work as it should. I'll always let you know if there are optional shaders in my presets. So you can turn them off.

The same image looks different on different screens. You might need some tweaking for your monitor's brightness/gamma/contrast if Reshade differs from the showcase.

Hello, You should find where the "TheDivision2.exe" file is located. For that you have to know where your game is installed. Than use standard Reshade and Reshade preset installation method. Go to the Youtube link: https://youtu.be/HWjIAXn_MtA

What is your game platform? Is it Console or PC? Let me know. If it is not PC you can't use Reshade graphics mod. If you are on PC it's Ok. If Reshade installer Can't find [TheDivision2.exe] file automatically you have to find it manually (where your game was installed) as it is explained in video tutorial. Unfortunately it's impossible for me to help with the finding of [TheDivision2.exe] location.

Why is there no RTGI version? can we use on this games?

Screenreel

Impossible to implement RTGI shader for this game unfortunately. There is no access to the addons settings because of the online mode of the game.

In any case very beautiful reshade the colors remain faithful to the little onion Thank you

OP what is your brightnes, sharpening and contrast in game settings?

Screenreel

Hello. I've checked you screenshot and I see you're getting only two working shaders, That's not fine. You should see all shaders mentioned in the post as active, otherwise preset will not work properly. I guess your reshade version is outdated, or you have not got all the necessary shaders from the reshade library. What you need to do: 1. Fully uninstall your reshade 2. Go to the game folder where reshade was installed and delete my preset and all reshade folders. 3. Install newest version of reshade and get all available shaders. Here is the step-by-step tutorial on how to do that: https://youtu.be/HWjIAXn_MtA 4. After that copy/paste my preset from downloaded archive . . . My in-game brightness/contrast are set to default. But you can ignore it and set these for you monitor and eye.

after 5 days of testing i did notice a bit of green tint when i play with natural lightning ON in video settings,do you think i could fix that somehow with some sliders in reshade? And yes colors are totally good when natural light is OFF. Cheers

Screenreel

Right, In-game neutral lighting affects lighting and colors also. It's good for some environments but for most of them, it dims light and gives colder colors. Preset 1.2 and upcoming presets are meant to be used when neutral lighting is Off. Overall you are getting much better visuals with preset on and neutral lighting off. Enjoy the game :)

Hello and welcome! Downloaded archive contains The Division 2_Preset v1.2 (S) file and reshade-shaders folder. You have to copy both into your game directory. The reshade-shaders folder contains the required LUT file for the preset to work properly. Let me know when problem solved
