Enhanced, Photomood and Filmic presets are available for the Dishonored. Each one of them has Raytracing (RT) and Non-Raytracing (Non-RT) versions.

Preset Showcase: https://youtu.be/d3JrFBPVA_o

Quick guide: --------------------------------------------------------------------

01. Download Reshade: https://reshade.me/ and run downloaded file

02. Select the game in the list (Dishonored.exe)

03. Choose the proper rendering API (For this game select DirectX 9)

04. Select and download all effect (shader) packages

05. For Presets Non-RT you can skip this step. But for Presets RT you should get mcflypg's RTGI shader (5$ tier): https://www.patreon.com/mcflypg/

06. Download my Reshade Preset(s) archive(s), extract it and put extracted files (.ini file and the reshade-shaders folder) into the game folder where the .exe file is located (Overwrite if asks)

07. Check in-game Reshade interface. You should see these shaders below as active in this order:

If the shader has the (Opt.) sign next to it, that shader is optional for a specific preset. You can disable them from Reshade GUI. These, however, are well-balanced and I recommend keeping them enabled.

For Dishonored_Preset RT Enhanced_v1.0:

LUT@LUT.fx,

prod80_01B_RT_Correct_Color@PD80_01B_RT_Correct_Color.fx,

qUINT_opticalflow@qUINT_of.fx,

RTGlobalIllumination@qUINT_rtgi.fx,

AmbientLight@AmbientLight.fx,

prod80_02_Bloom@PD80_02_Bloom.fx,

AdaptiveTonemapper@AdaptiveTonemapper.fx,

MatsoDOF@DOF.fx, (Opt.) - Depth of field

FlexibleCA@FlexibleCA.fx,

Clarity@Clarity.fx,

AMD FidelityFX ContrastAdaptiveSharpening@CAS.fx

For Dishonored_Preset RT Photomood_v1.0:

LUT@LUT.fx,

prod80_01B_RT_Correct_Color@PD80_01B_RT_Correct_Color.fx,

Blooming_HDR@BloomingHDR.fx,

MatsoDOF@DOF.fx, (Opt.) - Depth of field

FlexibleCA@FlexibleCA.fx, (Opt.) - Chromatic aberration

Clarity@Clarity.fx,

Unsharp@Unsharp.fx,

AMD FidelityFX ContrastAdaptiveSharpening@CAS.fx,

ArtisticVignette@ArtisticVignette.fx, (Opt.) - Vignette

qUINT_opticalflow@qUINT_of.fx,

RTGlobalIllumination@qUINT_rtgi.fx

For Dishonored_Preset RT Filmic_v1.0:

LUT@LUT.fx,

AmbientLight@AmbientLight.fx,

Blooming_HDR@BloomingHDR.fx,

MatsoDOF@DOF.fx, (Opt.) - Depth of field

FlexibleCA@FlexibleCA.fx,

Clarity@Clarity.fx,

AMD FidelityFX ContrastAdaptiveSharpening@CAS.fx,

qUINT_opticalflow@qUINT_of.fx,

RTGlobalIllumination@qUINT_rtgi.fx

-----------------------------------------------

For Dishonored_Presets Non-RT (Enhanced, Photomood, Filmic) you should see the same shaders as active except these two shaders:

qUINT_opticalflow@qUINT_of.fx,

RTGlobalIllumination@qUINT_rtgi.fx

If the Quick Guide does not answer all your questions you can watch step-by-step video tutorials on how to install Reshade and set up the in-game overlay, Also how to install RTGI shader and configure Depth Buffer properly here:

Universal Installation and Setup Guide

. . .

Important: Preset was tweaked and tested in Non-HDR game/monitor mode. It may not look decent in HDR mode. So make sure the HDR mode is deactivated in your in-game Display/Graphics settings. Also disable HDR for your Monitor, or set HDR level to low and try to tweak preset using extra shaders like: LevelsPlus, PD80_03_Levels or curves by yourself.

I plan to release HDR presets separately in the future if the project runs well with your support.

Note: Some shaders may give a very subtle effect in some areas. However, they have a significant impact on other environments. So don't turn off any shaders if you want the preset to work as it should. I'll always let you know if there are optional shaders in my presets. So you can turn them off.

The same image looks different on different screens. You might need some tweaking for your monitor's brightness/gamma/contrast if Reshade differs from the showcase.

How do I add the mcflypg RTGI shader? In your guide it doesnt match the file names I am seeing when I extracted his shaders. MartysMods_RTGI_DIFFUSE.fx MartysMods_RTGI_SPECULAR.fx Those are what I am seeing

Hey, welcome! Really glad you joined. These presets use Marty's "GI_Beta" and "Optical Flow" shaders (not iMMERSE Pro). I’m guessing you’ve already joined Marty's Discord, so you’ll just need to download those two shaders. -------------------------------------------------- Here’s a full guide for getting and installing "GI_Beta_0.36.1" and "Optical_Flow_0.1": https://youtu.be/J3GdNi0jl4o -------------------------------------------------- After that, you might need to set up the ReShade depth buffer. Here's a detailed guide: https://youtu.be/XiTsILudy_Q -------------------------------------------------- Before doing all this, I’d also recommend reinstalling ReShade and my presets to prevent any incompatibilities. Let me know how it works.

When I click on “Reshade Installation and Setup Guide” here on Patreon, it doesn't take me to the video tutorial :(

btw, I had an issue where the game icons looked really blurry (the HUD and names too), and it was fixed by disabling the option called “MatsoDOF” in ReShade. But I have a question: is there any way to fix the blurry icons and HUD? I understand that MatsoDOF is one of ReShade’s most popular effects, and I think it would be great to be able to fix that issue so I can use it. For now, I’ve been playing with it disabled, and I honestly hope there’s a solution to this. I look forward to your reply, and thank you in advance!
