The Pack includes an Overhaul (RT & Non-RT), Filmic (RT & Non-RT) and Fantasy (Non-RT) presets.

Read the "README!" files in the downloaded archives.

Preset Showcase: https://youtu.be/qfAzesK2YG0

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The game has really heavy Chromatic aberration effect and you can completely disable that: https://whatifgaming.com/disable-assassins-creed-mirage-chromatic-aberration/ I've used same method for my game.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ray tracing (RT) Presets are little bit heavy in terms of performance because of the RTGI shader. You can get more FPS with some tweaking - see the last picture above

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quick guide: (How to install Reshade/Preset):

01. Download Reshade: https://reshade.me/ and run downloaded file

02. Select the game in the list (ACMirage.exe)

03. Choose the proper rendering API (For this game select DirectX 10/11/12)

04. Select and download all effect (shader) packages

05. For Presets Non-RT you can skip this step. But for Presets RT you should get mcflypg's RTGI shader (5$ tier): https://www.patreon.com/mcflypg/

06. Download my Reshade Preset(s) archive(s), extract it and put extracted files (.ini file and the reshade-shaders folder) into the game folder where the .exe file is located (Overwrite if asks)

07. Check in-game Reshade interface. You should see these shaders below as active in this order:

If the shader has the (Opt.) sign next to it, that shader is optional for a specific preset. You can disable them from Reshade GUI. These, however, are well-balanced and I recommend keeping them enabled.

If the Quick Guide does not answer all your questions you can watch step-by-step video tutorials on how to install Reshade and set up the in-game overlay, Also how to install RTGI shader and configure Depth Buffer properly here:

Reshade Installation and Setup Guide

. . .

Important: Presets were tweaked and tested in SDR (Non-HDR) game/monitor mode. It may not look decent in HDR mode. So make sure the HDR mode is deactivated in your in-game Display/Graphics settings. Also disable HDR for your Monitor, or set HDR levels to low. You can also try to tweak presets using extra shaders like: LevelsPlus, PD80_03_Levels or curves by yourself for HDR TV.

I plan to release HDR presets separately in the future if the project runs well with your support.

Note: Some shaders may give a very subtle effect in some areas. However, they have a significant impact on other environments. So don't turn off any shaders if you want the preset to work as it should. I'll always let you know if there are optional shaders in my presets. So you can turn them off.

The same image looks different on different screens. You might need some tweaking for your monitor's brightness/contrast/saturation if Reshade differs from the showcase.

Wow, you really knocked it out the ballpark this time. I'm going to try the RT versions for Mirage. Am torn between the Overhaul and Filmic, need to play with the presets ON to decide which one to roll with! Am leaning more towards the filmic one purely due to how the game behaves. Opening arc felt like a movie with all the cutscenes and sceneries. Lots of hate on the game, but I like it for what it is right now.

RT Overhaul works best for pure gaming, filmic has more features, but I am having some UI blur issues. Can switch presets, but I am very happy with Overhaul as is) Here's some amateur ss with the preset: https://imgur.com/42frRH5

By the way, what do you use for your screen settings?brightness/contrast/sharpness I have Samsung Oddysey G7, VA panel monitor on 56/75/56.

Screenreel

Yes, Filmic preset includes Depth of field effect (ADOF) and if you're playing with HUD enabled, it will be blurred also. You can turn off ADOF to avoid that

Screenreel

My brightness/contrast/sharpness are set to 60/60/60 but you should absolutely ignore that and find some balanced settings for you monitor. Just what looks good for your eye you know

Homer of Simpsonia

Thank you, was just wondering if it's anything way past to what I had. I'll recheck my contrast, something I tweaked last week, feeling that everything is more 'red'.

Screenreel

Sure. Also under Color Tone/Color Temperature option, check the amount of Red, Green, Blue

where can i get Optical_Flow_0.1

Hello and Welcome! Thank you! I guess you forgot to copy/paste [reshade-shaders] folder. After you extract my preset(s), move all [.ini] files and the [reshade-shaders] folder into your AC Mirage game directory. The [reshade-shaders] folder contains the required LUT files for the presets to work properly. Keep in mind that without LUT you're getting half-working presets. Let me know :)
