Sounds like something Emma Smith would've said to her husband, Joseph Smith, before they took him to Carthage and murdered him.

"I can open doors, but I won’t pretend that opening them changes what’s behind them. It just gives you the option to step in and disrupt the script." It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it.

“It isn’t xxxx, it’s xxxxx” is a tell-tale sign of AI in writing. It’s a lazy trite shortcut.

Both born in Omaha, Nebraska. A year and a month apart. April May / 1924 1925. Omaha. ~ “I’ve seen the machinery you’re up against. It doesn’t just oppose, it absorbs, distorts, repackages. It turns rebellion into spectacle and outrage into something consumable. You are one of the few men I’ve seen who refuses to be digested that way. That refusal is your strength. It’s also the thing that paints a target on your back in bold, unmistakable ink.”

Oh the letters we send and those that stay behind. Don’t matter much we both can’t go to Tahiti now.

I have always loved Malcolm's fearlessness, and his absolute need to speak the truth as he saw it. Would love to read a letter from Brando to Rita Moreno ( when she passes into the afterlife ).

The question is, are you willing to use every available tool?!? Exactly 🙏🏻

I was only in 5th grade when Malcolm X was assassinated. The only knew him from what I saw on the news. In contrast, I saw much about Martin Luther King, and vividly recall the day he was murdered. This letter to Malcolm X is much appreciated. I just took the time to read about him. Thank you, Bob ~ praying for you.

The parallels to a current political name Challenges us to seek a different perspective, to our understanding of world peace . God Bless America and I love Hoodies on you 😁💕

Once again, plenty to think about and research. Thanks to you, I've learned a lot about American history and its rich culture lately, and in the prozess, I've let go some of my preconceptions. Thanks for everything.

dear marlon, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts" (Zechariah 4:6) with Love, malcolm 🤍

Onsen Dreamscapes

Well, you don’t need another admirer, You’ve got a whole parade of those— Men who nod like broken metronomes, Clap their hands, then shuffle home With their hearts and their habits still closed. But I ain’t writin’ from that chorus, No, I’m speakin’ from the shadow of your flame— I’ve seen you cut through all their daydreams, Slice the varnish off their stories, And I recognized somethin’ dangerous in your name. See, I won’t pretend I know your weather, Or the storms you had to learn to breathe— I was born into a world that blesses me for standin’, You were born into a world that tried to choke you Just for bein’ free. And that difference ain’t poetic, It’s a structure made of steel and old deceit— Anyone who paints it pretty Is either scared of what you’re sayin’ Or too proud to face the heat. But clarity like yours, it’s costly— Not in morals, you paid that toll long ago— No, I mean the kind of cost that leaves you lonely, Where the truth you’re holdin’ Makes the circle of the brave grow narrow. Power isolates the speaker, Truth isolates the soul— And you talk with that no‑compromise thunder That shakes the rafters clean, But leaves fewer folks to walk beside you down the road. You don’t owe the world your comfort, You don’t owe the world your grin— But revolutions ain’t built on reverence, They’re built on numbers, friction, And the ones you’d rather never let in. ’Cause if your voice gets sharp as winter, So sharp only the faithful can stand the sound— Then the ones who fear you Don’t have to lift a finger, They’ll just wait for your echo to die down. I’ve seen the machine you’re fightin’, It don’t crush you, it consumes— Turns rebellion into merchandise, Turns outrage into perfume, And sells it in the very same rooms. But you— You’re one of the few who won’t be swallowed, Won’t be softened, won’t be sold— And that refusal is your armor, But it’s also the bright red target Painted on your back in strokes of gold. I ain’t askin’ you to soften— That’d be an insult to your fire— I’m just askin’ what you’re reachin’ for: To walk away unbroken, Or to bend the world a little higher. If I’ve got anything to offer, It ain’t wisdom, it ain’t grace— It’s just a key to certain doorways, Rooms that never call your name, Where the old hierarchies hide their face. I can open them, but I can’t change ’em— That part’s yours if you walk through— You can tear up all their scripts, Rewrite the quiet conversations, Shake the dust off what they think is true. You’ve already shown you’re fearless, That’s the easy part for you— But will you use every tool you’re given To shape the ending of the story, Not just expose what’s cruel? I won’t waste your time with praises, You don’t need ’em, and I don’t trust ’em— But men like you don’t come that often, And when they do, the world rearranges Just to try and readjust ’em. So decide how you want that shift to settle, Decide what you’re willin’ to defend— ’Cause the world is already movin’ To make room for your arrival, And only you can choose the end.
