Update Blog - 1/7/23 (Patreon)

We've officially went through the first week of 2023 and, at least for me, it's been a slow start to ease myself into the year. Not because I'm trying to be cautious to see how the year will be, but because I'm going through the tail end of my cold. I learned the hard way that I'm not 100% yet, but I'm still doing what I can after the holidays to ease myself back not to normal like resuming the podcast and getting some work done while adapting to some of the new changes I promised to do like uploading more Shorts on YouTube. Yes, there was no new video for this week, but I did put out a warning of that beforehand and I need more time to advance on the current projects that I'm working on. However, even if the progress was slower than usual to make sure I can get my health better, here's what I've done during the week.

- Recording & Filming Animation Lookback: The Muppets Part 4: I wouldn't say that this is the best time to do this part as I'm recovering from my sickness, but I still took it easy to make sure that each VO and each film take is as best that it can be. It took a bit of time to get back into the groove of things with Puppet AniMat, but I did manage to make it all work and, with a bit of patience and time, I got the files I need to start making the video itself. Also, I'd like to note that Puppet AniMat will have a bigger role in Part 4. There will even be one part that he'll spend a lot of time explaining a certain moment in our story. The only catch is that I had to split it into parts because it would be insane to do it all in one take, so that'll require some editing magic on my part to make it all seamless. Still, that's one big part complete, and as I'm getting better, I'll be preparing for the editing next week and hopefully get Part 4 ready soon because I know for this year, my channel needs more Muppets.

And that's honestly it to report. Yea, I know, this is a real short blog this week, but, in a way, it's still the holiday season and, on top of working on my videos and podcast, and getting the cold out of my system, I also have to spend some time with friends and family, so I have kept myself busy for sure, but progress may be slower than usual. However, we are officially settled in 2023, so that should give me more time and energy to really get the ball rolling and have Part 4 and other videos ready for the year! That is...if this stupid cold can be fully gone.
