What a weird coincidence that I had the song that scatman crothers sings at the beginning of the film stuck in my head before this posted today

I gotta say this was honestly one of your best reviews you’ve done in a while. I honestly really like this movie and I too definitely consider it as Ralph Bakshi's best work he’s ever done, especially if you watch it nowadays and it really does serve as as a metaphor for what’s happening with our society today with all the racism and bigotry going around and with all the culture wars happening on the internet from these pathetic incels on the internet that just hate everything they don’t like and just want to spread bigotry, so overall this definitely does do a great job in that aspect of serving as an example of how our society has become so divided. So it looks like the next review is going to be The Land Before Time, in my opinion one of Don Bluth's best animated films and undeniably the best of the entire franchise.

Definitely went into a lot more depth with this review, but considering the subject matter and the comparisons to the problems with today’s society, I can see why it had to be long so the message you were trying to say with your review can get across. Looks like The Land Before Time is next. Ironically, even though it was the one that started it all, it was one of the last films from the franchise I remember watching as a kid since I watched the sequels prior.

This was definitely a heavy review, and I remembered last month when this was pulled after the Cars review, I said that if it was Coonskin, the review had to be delivered with care when talking about it. And I have to say Mat, you got it right. the way you handled what this film was about as well as the talk about its brief history on why this film was so controversial really helped allow on why this film came out that way with its release and the movie itself. I haven't seen this film, but I am working up the courage to do so. I'll give it a try next week and hope it's still on YouTube so I can see it. For the next review, This is definitely The Land Before Time, and I am curious about if the movie holds up today.

Sorry that it took me long enough to see it due working at doubles, but from the looks of it, I can see why Coonskin was one of the most controversial movies in history, but yet it ages mostly well. I have yet to watch any Ralph Bakshi’s films he made, but hearing that it one of his best works, I’ll have to watch it next year on Black History Month so I can see the movie myself that relates to black culture although you could’ve released it last month of February that ties to Black History Month to make it a good time to talk about it, but better late than never right? From the looks of it, it looked pretty rough and hard to sit through it subject matter, story, and animation altogether but with good intentions, it seems pretty impactful so that people can understand why black people have been struggling against systemic racism to this day especially here in America. Although I haven’t seen it, as a half black man myself as I am biracial, I will definitely recommend to people and friends so they can understand that this is an important movie to watch as I support black people to deserve equal rights in this country. It looks rough to look at but I will see it next year so can I make a post about it. Also, if it indeed The Land Before Time, then this is going to be interesting to watch given that I only seen one or two times despite didn’t grew up with that franchise. Bold review you made overall Mat!

I am really looking forward to the next review.
