Say hello to the newest addition to the Candle Holder Collection... Sam! 🎃🍭

This little guy has all the creepy-cute Halloween energy I wanted for this collection, complete with his burlap-style texture, button eyes, stitched smile, orange pajamas and his signature jack-o’-lantern lollipop.

🕯️ ABOUT THE CANDLE HOLDER

The candle tray is designed to accommodate Bath & Body Works candles, similar-sized candles, and smaller candles.

Just like the previous candle holders, the tray prints separately from the character. This helps reduce print time, makes color management easier, and allows the pieces to be printed independently.

A corresponding dowel is included on the print bed with the tray for attaching the tray to the character.

Remember that every printer, filament and calibration can produce slightly different tolerances. If your dowel needs a minor adjustment, that is completely normal. Typically, it should print and fit without an issue.

For additional stability, I personally recommend gluing the dowel into place with the tray.

🔧 RECOMMENDED PRINT SETTINGS

• Organic Tree Supports• Top Z Distance: 0.28 mm• 3 walls• Gyroid infill• PLA or PETG

As always, these are the settings I recommend based on my own prints. Your individual machine may require adjustments.

⚠️ CANDLE + MATERIAL SAFETY

If you choose to print this model in PLA, please remember that PLA has relatively low heat resistance and can soften or deform when exposed to sufficient heat.

Some makers using PLA have had success placing the metal candle lid underneath the candle while it is sitting in the tray. This creates an additional barrier between the bottom of the candle and the PLA. However, this does NOT make PLA heat-proof or eliminate the risks associated with heat or an open flame.

Print and use at your own risk. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

For the safest option, I recommend using an LED/flameless candle whenever possible.
