Date Ariane 2 alpha 0.80 released (Patreon)

Did some traveling this month which was time consuming, so I only got one scene done. Luckily it was a big one, the Cabaret scene, probably the most popular in the game.

You used to use the games help to highlight the right answers, which I got rid of, but for this scene turn on the help icons in preferences (they are on by default) and click links that don't show the ⚠️ symbol to get the same thing.

New game changes: You will need to get Ariane enough wine so that she'll let you drive her SUV. I added a choice "get some more wine" that shows up in the activities menu if she only drank at dinner.

Clicking will give you the choice "Let her finish" which means Ariane has one more drink than you so you get to be designated driver to the strip club, or if you choose "drink yourself" it means you are both too impaired to drive. "Call for a ride" and then "Anywhere is fine" and the cab driver will take you to the strip club.

You will not get her to dance without two impressions. You can get a quick one downtown by buying gas on your way the the cabaret.

One thing I haven't done yet is a new version for the bonus side, which is currently identical to the regular. I'm putting that off since it would be new content.

Am I almost done?

Well I only have two scenes left: the coffee shop and the Amusement Park. Coffee shop should be easy, the amusement park involves several new sets or converted old sets.

Once those are done, we get "beta" mode where I thoroughly test, make new walkthrough paths, and a new demo. Early 2026 is still on track.
