Pics 242: Promo Pics (Patreon)

This next week I need to make all new graphics for the Date Ariane Remastered on Steam, and update the game on Steam.

So I decided to make some promo pics for use on Steam, or Social Media, and thought I'd share them here first. The first picture above was a remake of the first picture I made on Pics: 188 here These two pics are over a year apart.

Second, I wanted a portrait of Ariane and I wanted to put her in a familiar place that's also a new place. The only picture on the parking garage was a nude of Ariane looking out to the street. A portrait looking at the camera is something new.

All of these promo pics use poses that I haven't used before.

Finally I wanted to make a nude that is not really a nude. The focus is tight on the face, and everything below is out of focus. I think I found a cute facial expression.

The Beta 0.95 I released was pretty close to perfect, but I found some mistakes to fix anyways. For example in the nude "bonus" when you go to the vista, Ariane keeps putting on a shirt.

I also decided to improve the random compliment system since most of the compliments didn't make sense in the context. So, I found all the places where compliments go and picked more appropriate compliments that makes sense in the context.

Other than that, I re-rendered a few pics, like the slow dance pictures because the gold chain that Ariane wears was clipping on her collar bones and neck. It actually happens a lot, but the slow dance pics are the ones I found to be the most noticeable.Next week I'll release the first official release version, and it won't be perfect (there will be further updates), but I can call it done, and focus on something else.

I have two projects: Dating in a World on Fire, and a new DLC for Date Ariane 2. I'll post outlines of plans for both soon.
