Pics 246: A side quest to end Chapter 2 (Patreon)

This is Rory, a character I designed to be in the game, but I never really had a good role for her. I originally introduced her in Pics 183 with the idea of making her a tech geek you meet in class. I had a whole "meet cute" for her to turn her into a possible love interest, but I've abandoned that idea.

It starts with a real life experience I had in college. I took an Intro to Engineering class that included a team project. A bridge building project to span a distance made out of a list of scrap materials. The project is judged on amount of weight the bridge can hold, divided by the cost of materials. I thought, I'd mirror this.

The class is divided into teams of 3. Rory the "goth" is a driven perfectionist who wants a good grade, and a character I'm calling Marty because he looks like Timothy Chalamet who recently played a Marty. He's more than happy to let Rory do all the work. This leads to some spoilery conflict I don't want to talk about yet.

Anyways, I thought I'd also show this awesome library set, that probably needs a few background people.
