Pics 248: Alex Traces a Hack (Patreon)

This is a continuation of a flashback scene that I introduced last week. It is for a future part of the story, probably introducing Chapter 4 ("the heist") and we are still in chapter 2. I'm just doing it now because I already have it written in my notes, so I may as well illustrate it.

Scene 1, Alex sits in her desk in a London office and sees that the company servers are being hacked, data is being erased. She gets on with her supervisor to "shut the whole system down before we lose everything".

Scene 2, Alex runs to the server room to trace the hack. I really love this futuristic server room set. This set in London means I can put Alex in a leather jacket. Haven is way too warm for that.

Alex traces the hack to inside the building only to discover a supercomputer in a clean room. This is how Alex and Harry meet. When I lived in Phoenix, I knew several people who worked for Intel and they had to wear what they called "bunny suits" in the rooms where processors were made.

I didn't have a "bunny suit" but I do have a space suit of sorts that can serve the same role. Walking in a clean room without one can contaminate the electronics.
