We were just about to pull out of the gas station when I remembered my weekly tradition. “Wait!” I grab Brian’s arm to stop him from driving off. “It’s Friday. I gotta get my scratcher.”

Seth groans from the back seat. “Come on, Oscar. Are you seriously still doing that silly tradition of yours?”

I glare at him over my shoulder. “It’s not silly, and you’re going to regret calling it that when I win millions one day.” Not giving him a chance to respond, I hop out of Brian’s beat-up Corolla and run into the convenience store to purchase a fifty-dollar scratcher. Less than ten minutes later, we’re back in my dorm to complete what’s been my weekly tradition since I was ten years old.

“I still don’t understand why you spend so much money every week,” Brian says from where he’s perched on the edge of my bed. “Why not just buy something cheaper?”

“Because,” I say, grabbing my grandmother’s lucky coin, “Grandma Marie used to buy a twenty-five dollar scratcher for each of us. And since she’s not here anymore, I have to get fifty.”

I know it’s not entirely sane to be spending so much money every week as a broke college student who works a part-time job at the local coffee shop, but I can’t help it. Besides, I’ve won a couple thousand dollars over the years, so it’s not like I’m always losing money. And one day, I’m going to win big.

I scratch at the card, spreading foil all over my desk, and when I’m done, I blink, confused. There’s no way…

“Holy shit,” I whisper, looking up at my two friends who are busy scrolling on their phones. “Uh, you guys. I won!”

Seth frowns. “How much did you win this time? A hundred?”

I shake my head, trying my best not to scream like a maniac. “Ten million.”

Both Brian and Seth snap their heads in my direction, their mouths gaping at me like I just grew a second head.

Brian recovers first. “No fucking way. You’re just messing with us.”

I hand him the card and can see the realization sink in for both of them at the same time. Then, it’s absolute pandemonium as all three of us shout, talking over each other.

“There’s no way—”

“This has to be a mistake—”

“Can you even win ten million in—”

“I FUCKING WON!” I scream, jumping up and down. “Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!”

“Dude, that’s fucking insane, bro.” Brian pulls me into a hug, thumping on my back.

Seth runs his hand through his light brown hair. “I can’t believe it! I thought you’d be wasting your money for the rest of your life.”

A smirk tugs at my lips. “And you called it silly.”

Seth’s cheeks turn a deep shade of red. “Uh, I was just joking, dude. I had total faith in you.”

Brian ruffles Seth’s hair before using the height advantage to pat his head like he’s a little kid. “It’s okay, dude. I’ll share some of the money Oscar gives me.”

Seth smacks Brian’s hand away and gives him the finger while I scoff, crossing my arms. “And why would I give you money? I’ve heard you making fun of my tradition too.”

Brian looks taken aback, but it’s Seth who dramatically gets on his knees and raises his hands in a pleading gesture. “Come on, dude. We’re your best friends! We’ve had your back since high school!”

Brian chimes in, “Yeah, sharing is caring! And Grandma Marie would have wanted you to share with us. She loved us!”

A dangerous thought enters my mind. It’s a thought I’ve had before. One that I’ve been too afraid to think about seriously because it might change things between us forever.

But the thought slips out now. “How about this? I’ll give five grand to each of you… if you both hook up with me.”

Their jaws drop open, and it would almost be comical if my nerves weren’t getting the better of me right now.

“Are you being serious?” Brian asks with a competitive gleam in his eyes.

Seth looks skeptical. “Five thousand smackeroos just so we can have sex with you?” He says it as if I’m about to say April Fools.

I nod, and they look at each other, having a silent conversation with each other using just their eyes. It’s something I’ve always been jealous of. These two have been friends since middle school, which has always made me the third wheel in their friendship since I didn’t meet them till I was in high school.

They both look back at me and at the same time say, “Deal.”

All three of us look at each other, awkwardly waiting for someone to say or do something, and unsurprisingly, it’s Brian who takes the first step by pulling Seth into a searing kiss.

My cock twitches behind my sweatpants at the sight of my two best friends kissing in front of me, their tongues battling for dominance. It doesn’t take long for them to pull me in to the action, Seth tilting his head up to reach my mouth, his lips softer than I expected. Then, Brian takes over, his tongue swiping at the seam of my lips, demanding entrance into my mouth.

I give in to both of them, tasting them on each other as our hands start roaming. Brian’s hand slips under my t-shirt, his fingers tracing the divots of my abs while Seth reaches around and squeezes my ass.

I touch both of them, learning the differences between their bodies. Brian is all hard planes of muscle and abs, while Seth is skinny and smooth. It’s the best of both worlds, a handsome gym bro and a cute twink—both of them mine for the night.

Our clothes come off haphazardly: shirts, shoes, pants, hats—until all three of us are standing in our underwear with very obvious boners.

This is going to be the best night of my life.

Oscar, you are cheap. You win $10M and give your two best friends a measly $5K, and that only if they hook up with you? Brian and Seth, you'd better ask to see the scratcher!
