Just curious, are the 3MF settings dialed in for the translucent filament? I know there’s a dozen different opinions on how to get clearer translucent prints.

justin butler

where is the zero candle holder file I cant find it?

Smallbobrob

Man I didnt really mess with it too much I left the 3mf how I printed with the transparent PLA but if you can get it more clearer pass me those settings lol👀

Creative Hands 3D Printing

Omg my heart is racing. I am so in love with Eeyore and this is perfect for me thank you

Yadi

I try printed the Pooh face I am having trouble with it it’s doesn’t stay on the plate I have a cold plate slow The speed and it doesn’t stay

Smallbobrob

I hit the "auto orient objects on plate" button and then printed it that way that the slicer recommended which was flat and then the pooh face going left to right. Lmk if that made sense or if that helps

Yadi

yeah im kinda confusued i havent how the file is but it doesnt print

Carol

Is the red that's in the transparent off to the side if the rose supposed to be there , like, is it supposed to be a shadow or is that a mess up in the file ?

Smallbobrob

I think that was maybe a glare the file doesn't show that spot red either

Carol

I'm printing it and it's there, that's why I asked.

Carol

I had to go look at your picture To see if my machine messed up.

Carol

It starts around layer 430 and goes to layer 460. You dont see it until you pull the slider down in preview which I never checked. This is the 2nd print. The first one failed halfway through 😭

Smallbobrob

Just saw it. Huh that is weird it doesn't even show that in the prepare tab. I'll play around with it and try to remove that

Carol

I'm hoping when its done I can pull it off as intentional. Its at 63%, I'm not stopping it now!

Smallbobrob

I don't think it'll be removable tbh it looks really in the edges. I didn't even notice it when I printed it I sold that test printed one. I colored those areas in with the sphere brush and updated the file on this post. thanks for catching that🙏🏻

Carol

It looks like it's inside but until I take it off I'm not sure. I tried to remove it from the file too but I'm just learning so figured I'm just missing something.

Carol

I got it. It's so tedious. If you go to paint and rotate it at the right angle use reset direction and keep bringing it down you can use the bucket and smart fill. You have to keep pulling it down. Then rotate it again so you can see the side and do it again.

Hello The pooh ears are in the way of the bottle. How can i slice the ears so the bottle can fit?

Jackie Echevarria

i am trying to pint winnie th pooh and no matter what i change the face has so many circles on the finished products

Smallbobrob

The circles are from the nozzle since the face is face up you can turn on ironing to get all the top areas and preview it on slicer it should show what it will turnout like. another option is going to the body right clicking the face and turning the negative into a positive part so that it could print with the white part and there wouldn't be any circles on the face since it's facing forward

Smallbobrob

I can try and cover the wall behind the ears or the other option is also right clicking the ears on the body and changing the negative type to part so that the ears could print with the body and they should print aligned with the white blanket part

Jackie Echevarria

( Thanks for the reply ) i tried ironing , i also already printed the knitted body from the separate plate the only way I got it to go away is to make it print upright and alot of adaptive and smooth but it brought the print for just the face to 11 hours and the filament change from ornge to blck was almost 600x its nuts lol

Melissa

Any chance you will have none halloween winnie the pooh and eeyore?

luis mota

never mind found it

Octane-CD

translucent needs 0.6 to 0.8 nozzles with super slow speeds. I may try this out and see how it turns out.
