“The Hall of Voices” | Public Teaser (Patreon)
Content
Deep within a forgotten world, beneath layers of rock and time, lies the ruin of an ancient underground minotaur city. Once, it was a thriving center of clans, where the monumental Hall of Voices served as the place where the most important decisions of the entire civilization were made.
Today, the hall is almost empty. Cracked columns rise from the stone floor like remnants of a lost era, and the echo of footsteps lingers in the air as if the place itself remembers every word ever spoken.
In one of the corners of the hall, on a raised platform, stands a throne made of grey stone. A narrow, worn staircase leads up to it, smoothed by time and countless footsteps of past rulers.
On that throne sits Thaeron — the last known representative of the white minotaurs in this region. He is calm, composed, with green eyes that reveal neither anger nor fear. His massive presence does not inspire terror, but respect. In his presence, even silence feels structured and intentional.
By his side remains Lysara — a woman of exotic beauty, with green eyes and a strong, balanced physique. Her presence is not born from obligation or submission, but from choice. She is the only person capable of breaking his silence with a single glance. Between them exists a bond built on trust, loyalty, and a shared history that does not need to be spoken aloud.
The underground city is not entirely dead — a small number of its former inhabitants still live within its tunnels, unwilling to leave the place where they were raised, even though the surface world has long moved on.
🌫️ Arrival of the Guest
One day, Karvon arrives at the Hall of Voices — Thaeron’s former friend and ruler of another region of the underground realms.
His form is dark grey and raw, with red eyes that make him appear more threatening than he truly is. In reality, Karvon is a complex but not evil being — impulsive, wild in movement, yet loyal to the ancient laws and traditions.
His domain consists of primal, rugged caves, more instinct-driven than structured cities.
He arrives according to the old clan customs — not as an enemy, but as a guest whose presence carries political and symbolic weight. In a world slowly abandoning its ancient traditions, such visits are echoes of a fading era.
🌒 Tension and Tradition
Between Thaeron and Karvon there is a shared past — old alliances, decisions, and conflicts that shaped the current order of the underground realms.
Lysara observes their meeting with quiet attentiveness. She is not merely a witness — her presence plays a subtle but important role in the fragile balance between past and present.
Karvon’s visit is more than a reunion of old acquaintances. It is a test of what remains of the ancient clan laws, loyalties, and structures in a world that is gradually losing its old foundations.
