A Few Updates (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

First of all, I'd like to apologize for the longer break and the lack of new content lately. I feel that I owe you an explanation.

1. Motivation and personal matters

My motivation hasn't been at its best recently due to a personal issue that has been dragging on for over four years. I finally need to put it behind me, and there's a good chance everything will be fully resolved next week. I'm really hoping I'll finally be able to stop thinking about it all the time and focus entirely on creating content again.

2. Stress and paperwork

In order to keep doing what I do for all of you, I also need to take care of one important legal/formal matter in my country. Everything is already prepared, and if all goes according to plan, it should be completely resolved in August.

3. Time to recharge

I'll also be taking a short vacation soon. I genuinely need a few days to rest and reset. I'm planning to spend some time in the countryside with my family and enjoy nature, which has always been a huge source of inspiration for me.

I'm also hoping to finally visit Prague for 2–3 days. I've been planning that trip for almost two years, but ongoing personal issues kept getting in the way.

4. PC upgrades

On the technical side, I've made a few important upgrades to my PC.

While recording in both 4K and 2K, my computer would sometimes shut down during the most demanding scenes—especially those with lots of fur, lighting effects, and other heavy rendering. 😄 The power draw would spike too high, causing sudden shutdowns and occasionally ruining my work.

On top of that, after several minutes of recording, my GPU would get very hot and FPS would start dropping noticeably.

Last Saturday I upgraded to a much more powerful power supply (which will also help with the next upgrade) and installed five additional case fans. Temperatures are much better now... although my PC sounds like a small jet engine. 😄

5. Testing a new graphics card

Thanks to your support, I'll also be testing a slightly more powerful graphics card over the next few days.

I'll put it through its paces for 2–3 days and hopefully it will keep performance above 30 FPS even in scenes packed with characters and dynamic lighting. That's exactly why I needed the stronger power supply.

The only thing I'm a little worried about now is my electricity bill. 😅

6. Thank you

I truly want to thank everyone who has supported me from the very beginning, those who continue to support me today, and everyone who comes back from time to time.

Your support allows me to keep improving the project and invest in better hardware, and I genuinely appreciate it.

7. What's coming next?

My goal is to release two videos before the end of this month.

The first one is an overdue project that I've struggled to sit down and finish editing.

The second one will feature Werewolf Kael and Sorceress Nyxara exploring the Jungle Ruins. It's already partially finished, and tomorrow I'll try to post a few preview screenshots.

8. Back to regular uploads

Starting from the second week of August, I plan to return to a much more consistent release schedule—around 3 to 8 videos per month, and in even better quality than before.

Lately it's been difficult to stay focused while working, but I finally feel like the hardest part is behind me.

9. Looking ahead

If everything goes according to plan, my next goal will be to find a voice actress to help bring future videos to life.

Ideally, I'd love to work with someone who can not only provide great voice acting but also help with sound design and audio editing, making the videos even more immersive and cinematic.

It's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and I think it would be a huge step forward for the overall quality of the channel.
