Ver0.56 Update (Patreon)

Published:
2019-11-30 15:44:16
Imported:
2026-06

Content

 This is Ver0.56.

It continues the city route as well as the alternate shrinking route.

Some of the new scenes may cause motion sickness if playing in VR, so if you start feeling unwell, we recommend you cease playing at once.

There are no system-related updates this time.

calvin

I've got no problems running the new city stuff. Anyone know where the alternate shrinking route is? I didn't find anything new as far as being a 1 mm lint on Cheri's thigh.

calvin
>>29539753

oh never mind. found the bread scene. that was intense. good update!

Ronryan

Update was a good one enjoyed seeing plot extensions and reasons for size changing to happen

aHomester

That was absolutely awesome. Further hypes me up for future updates. Played it on Oculus Rift S, had zero issues.

Blake

Wow you guys really put in a lot of work this month! The playful interactions of Cheri and in both paths was amazing and how you guys manager to always have so much detail in everything. I think of all the projects I've seen your guy's attention to those details be it how beautifully textured Cheri is, all the audio being so well executed and amplifying all the incredibly smooth and well done animations, you guys really have done some damn fine work! Without giving away spoilers I loved both scenes and even the city NPCs and reactions were well done and reacted really well! Kudos to you guys and praise be our lord and savior, Bread!

Grayson Jacobs

Great update! Loved the new scenes, and the vore stuff was really well done!

Jim Booklin

Awesome update! I'm real glad you guys decided to do a vore scene, you really have made the best giantess fantasy game out on the internet by far. I hope you'll continue to add things that you both enjoy as well, but I still very much appreciate vore in a giantess game when I can get it. Keep up the good work, the city route has been amazing so far as well and I really look forward to each month no matter how small or big the amount of content that is added. I'm happy to keep supporting this project!

Ronryan

Also rip fort bread

Anonymous

今回のことは、無敵すぎる！お疲れ様でした！

Chuckles

Are there any plans to release any more updates for free?

ToT

where is bonus？

Ronryan

Also I know mj staited that there was content cut short due to time as a issue as seen on Twitter here https://mobile.twitter.com/MMJJMJJ/status/1200803040548147201 will this said cut content be updated mid December or just be part of the update of the 30th of December what ever you pick is fine I'm just curious that's all

Anonymous

I finally got myself a fully working Index kit (both headset and controllers), i haven't played through the new build yet, but i will soon. (also finally becoming a patron soon) The high res and super clear image of the Index is gonna blow me away in Resize Me, i'm pretty sure. (it already looked great on Vive with 200% super sampling.)

@皿@

Great work as always! Nice Job. The vore part looks very intense, I might try it with VR one day lol.

Mage19

Really nice update I loved it, especially the reactions that chieri had when you looked at her to much. It would be nice if more of those moments were implemented.

Daan Duijkers

So here's my thoughts on the update: I liked the city portion a lot more this time around. (I previously thought it lacked substance, despite it's set pieces) This is cause it had the thing I thought it lacked last update: interplay between Chieri and Makoto. With how the story progresses here, I can totally see it heading towards it's climax with the next few updates. In contrast, I feel like the alternate branch doesn't have much going on time time around. I think it suffered from the same thing the city portion did last update: grand set pieces, but no substance. (Also, Makoto shrinking to 1.7cm here makes me wonder whether the "foot preview," where he's still 5cm, is even canon anymore!) Of course, this is all subjective and I can totally see some people being into this kinda stuff.

Jonno

Not sure if it's a bug but the woman's running animation gets stuck for me and it realllllly takes me out of the immersion. :( Everyone clinging onto her hand for dear life and there's this woman running on the spot. Not great. No problems with the vore scene technically, I'm just not that into vore personally. But vore peeps defo should play it in vr. Also I should have mentioned this sooner but there's a few typos here and there in the english version. Totally understandable but just a heads up. Also the bit where you're clinging onto the cable sometimes doesn't sync up right. I usually play on oculus rift cv1, standing up with the third person camera mode enabled and an xbox one controller so I can look around with the stick and stand perfectly still facing in one direction. If these bugs are happening because of that then that's fair I guess but I just thought I'd mention them anyway. ^^

Nameless Throw Away

Her only having 1 line after "that" happened in the branching path was surprising and felt kind of out of character. I would have expected her to either apologize to him, taunt him, laugh at him or something after he got there. Besides that one nit pick the scene was amazing, and I liked that she made him smaller for it, as it fit better and the perspective was made more impressive.

Ronryan
>>29553336

Yea it was definitely cute as hell to see her shrink him in that way as a resolution for issues rather then a punishment like when he said badzilla wasnt that scary so she went oh rly now and shrank him to be shorter then the toy stuff like that is adorable

dbeats

Like a captain going down with his ship, I will go down with my bread!

QMajor60

Wow, the bread branch was really well done! That was something very challenging to convey in 3D VR, and if it went by the usual 'formula' would have probably been underwhelming. But with the extra work put into the sound effects (often so neglected!), the saliva, and her menacing teasing it was wonderful! It's also very creative compared to the usual vore scenarios, but that's not unusual for you guys (how many people use a dangling cord as a torture instrument lol) Finally, despite (at least assuming) vore isn't being something you're directly into, you managed to reframe the whole scene in a unique way that reinforced to the whole dynamic you had with Chieri and Makoto. I'm very impressed! (I do agree that it's a bit weird she didn't say anything about leaving you inside of her though) Nice!!

MarineSara

Im having problems with the sound!!! Its muted!!!!

Anonymous

Oh my lordy you two did an outstanding job both with the city scene and the vore stuff!. Can't imagine how hard that must have been.

Enzo

This game is something special. Both paths were amazing - thanks so much!

MarineSara

This update was SOOO amazing!!! I love it!!!!! Love the vore part!!!! I would have loved more dialog from chieri once realized that she had done it, but omg it was amazing!!!! I just love how this psrt of the story is developing!!! Although Im still waiting for some great feet crush scenes 😍😍😍😍😍

MarineSara
>>29560182

Ooooh heres an idea!!! How about after getting inside, showing some of the bread entering the stomach, like that would be amazing!!!!

Luminargamer

How do you get to the alternate routes?

Zephyr

That bread scene was beyond amazing. So damn good!

SmolDegen

I finally understand the appeal of vore. Thank you guys!

Dr.Stone

Pretty good update, the vore scene was pretty unique. I noticed a problem with the sound, if its cranked up to the max, sound just stops playing. I haven't had this issue in any other software, i am not sure why it happens in this one. On a different note: Have you seen the new Unreal 4 Chaos update? It has a pretty good destruction system if you really want to go city scale.

Anonymous

Are you not supposed to be able to scan her forhead in the city screen? Or is my aim just off?

MJ & Aoigai
>>29541137

Thank you very much! We don't know what'll happen with the next updates but we'd like to keep making content that people enjoy.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29544070

Hm? It seems like the bonus scene is gone... we'll fix it if we have time or add it back for next update.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29544787

We will mostly focus on system-related fixes during December so the cut content will be continued a bit after that.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29546011

Index sounds good~ We're curious how the game looks on it. It's finally released in Japan, but it's expensive so we can't see ourselves using it any time soon...

MJ & Aoigai

Thank you! The vore scene was hard to create so we're glad to hear you say that.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29551981

Thank you for the bug reports! Right now the NPCs get stuck like that when the player stops moving, which admittedly is a very rough way to handle the situation so we'd like to improve upon that in the future. Right now the city scene has little programming and is mostly built just to have the scenes run properly so there can be a lot of bugs in it. We're planning to fix that as well. We fix the typos as we see them, but as we don't know English they can be hard to notice sometimes. Once we finish the main story up to a certain degree we'll probably fix them all in an update [Note from Alicemagic: Sorry, I'm a dummy! There are some typos because I tend to rush in order for the translated versions to be out the same time as the Japanese ones, but I'll get them all fixed sooner or later!]. We won't fix the TPS mode any time soon since it's mostly meant to be an extra bonus feature. We'll eventually improve on it but only by the time the game is mostly reaching completion.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29557726

Thank you very much! We're overjoyed to hear you liked the update that much. Regarding the bad end, we sort of ran out of time so we will add more to it in the future.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29568329

Thank you very much! And thanks for the bug report too. That is an odd bug... UE4's destruction system seems great but it'd be impossible to switch to it this late into development. Sad...

MJ & Aoigai

There might be a delay in responses depending on how long it takes our translator [hi!] to translate them all.

GRios

Makoto is going to need a good bath after that vore experience I hope Chieri gives him something to wash I hope so

philiptm

really good update, the vore scene was amazing despise some bugs. fast bug report gaps between the lips, some clipping inside of the mouth doing the second part

BlueGoose

Wow, this is possibly the best update you've put up so far! The Vore scene, as people have said, is very impressive, it's honestly an experience that I never thought would come across that well in VR, but you've convinced me. The city scenes are good too, and I'm more than excited to get to scan and get inside Chieri's head and continue the story. I'm assuming the models/animations for the city-people you run away from Chieri with are temporary? The models are all different styles and one of them keeps getting stuck in a running animation for me so I'm guessing this was just a last-minute addition? Regardless, FANTASTIC work guys, especially the dialogue with Chieri. When you get busier and can't add as much "new" stuff to the game, it might be worth looking at just adding more dialogue options/paths that don't actually branch to different scenes, I just really love the interactions between Chieri and Makoto. Good luck with work, and have a Merry Christmas!

philiptm

some suggestions. doing the licking scene add some water effect to the screen when Makoto is licked, doing the vore scene let's us see Makoto going through the esophagus to the stomach, some system related suggestions if possible give us some more graphics settings like Shadows. Lighting

RegisForza

Good work! I Liked the more personal aproaches like the vore scene.

Nick2802

If your not playing in VR you are doing yourself a disservice Why don't more people know about this? This was the most surreal vore experience of my life. I have only played a little of the game but i cant wait to play more. i am in it for the long hall. If you have polls at a higher tear I would up my patronage. I am a vore guy though and though I hope there is more in this game.

ChibiMann

Wow!! This update must have been very hard on you guys, with the new modeling, and city scenes with all those NPCs. Once again, you guys did an amazing job!! I love the new update! I also love that there are two different story branches to follow - it feels like I can enjoy two updates. Wonderful job, guys. Thank you so much!!

MJ & Aoigai
>>29575161

We haven't really considered a bath scene. That probably won't be how it turns out though.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29585345

Thank you for the bug reports. We have noticed the gaps between the lips and are working on fixing them. Do you mind going into more detail about the 2nd problem though?

MJ & Aoigai
>>29585532

Thank you! The NPCs models are indeed temporary. We eventually plan to make their artstyles more uniform. We also want to fix their running animations.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29586510

We originally considered adding water effects on the screen, but when playing with VR it sort of makes it seem like you're viewing the world through a glass panel so we decided against it. If we have time we'd like to show the esophagus too. We're not sure what you mean by shadow settings though. As in make things darker?

MJ & Aoigai
>>29594946

Thank you! The route-which-isn't-the-city-route (rolls right off your tongue) will continue focusing on 1 on 1 interactions.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29602566

Thank you very much! We've created VR exclusive lighting for the vore scene so we're glad you enjoyed it (we may have made it too dark though). We won't make a lot of vore scenes in the future, but we'd like to at least have one more since we already made a model for the stomach and all.

Alex

Really impressive work again, i like the vore scene and the city scene, i know i'ts hard for you to work and it's difficult to found à good guys for helping you but for now you'r work is very great it's the most beautifull game i ever seen in giantess category, thank's for you'r work !

Eagle Won

Game of the Year! A little suggestion: the vore scene is AWESOME! but the scene is so dark in VR and the subtitle is way too bright. That's a little uncomfortable, the bright subtitle can cause reflection in VR glass, makes it harder to view the vore scene. Still, my GOTY 2019, お疲れ様でした！

侍四

if there was a 3rd person view after she ate him that would be crazy >,< although that would definitely compromise the controls and everything (٭°̧̧̧꒳°̧̧̧٭)(_`Д´)_ｸｯｿｫｫｫｫｫ!! 笑笑笑 お気に入りっすよこれ！

侍四

its such a well made game ꉂ(σ▰˃̶̀ꇴ˂̶́)σ✧

侍四

出来れば、僕が月に10ドルあげますよ 笑笑 このゲームを作ってくれてあざっす笑

MJ & Aoigai
>>29653196

Thank you! You're right, the VR scene is a bit too dark. We'll probably adjust it a bit in the future. Thanks again!

future

Just bought a vr headset just for this. well maybe some games too. But mostly because of this.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29686597

Thank you for buying a VR set specifically for this game! We hope you can enjoy the world of VR with various games including ours.

Zuzul

I first try the free demo, but then i said to myself "This game is what the fantasy is about !". You manage to give people a unique way to live their gts fetish and for that i can't be more gratefull ! You are using the vr like real pro ! I've seen big vr game that aren't close to this game !

KNekoSpy

I bought a headset just to play this after playing it in desktop mode and started from the beginning today. This is seriously amazing stuff. She looks HUGE. Anyone not playing this in VR is missing out. I will continue to support you even more from now on by increasing my pledge! I'm curious how much story is left, as well as if you're planning for more extreme size stuff...?

norn ront

Hey, I love the game and the update and I am thinking about going for a VR headset this Christmas because of it. I saw it brought up a few times and wanted to chime in, in case you haven't decided what to do with the alternative decision after Chieri enters the room while you wait next to the door. I am personally a huge fan of unaware crush scenes and it would also mean less effort for you guys to keep this branch short. Have you decided on what to do with that branch yet? I am super curious! Anyway, thank you again for the amazing game. Keep up the great work and make sure to get enough rest. Like most people supporting this, the long term future of this project is more important to me than any quick milestone. Cheers!

MJ & Aoigai
>>29701626

Thank you! We don't think we can compare to VR games made by pros, but making something like this has been our dream so we're glad to hear you enjoyed it so much.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29725778

Thank you very much! We like extreme size differences of course, so there will be more size changes in the future. As for the story, I think we're around 2/3 done between both routes, but that also depends on our schedule in the future.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29730681

We're glad to hear you're considering buying a VR headset for this game! Please decide carefully which one you want though. We've tested the game on Oculus and Vive but not on any other ones. We've considered adding an unaware crush at the door scene but we don't know if we'll go through with it. Our progress for updates might get a bit slower starting next year, but we hope you'll still keep supporting us.

KNekoSpy
>>29730681

I would also support an unaware crush at the door, it seems like a good spot for it. Your game, your vision though. And I'll support you as long as it takes until the game is done.

KNekoSpy

While playing, I did notice some odd things using the Samsung Odyssey+ WMR headset. In certain scenes (the fingerplay one in the one-on-one alternate route) I found the audio would cut out in one or both ears for some reason at times. It doesn't do that for most of the game, though I often find there's some odd crackling with the sound here and there.

Anonymous

hello, VR user here, I decided to give your game a try as I heard you added a Vore scene, I'm glad to say that It was spot on and I was really impressed. I've noticed the game had floating hands, are you planning on adding motion control support in the future?

ToT

I can't find bonus

calvin

Has the sound effects for the booming steps changed in this update? I replay the tiny house and city scenes a lot and they sound really awesome.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29763940

Hmm... We couldn't replicate the issue on our own Oculus, but we'll look more into it. It might be just that the quality of the sound effect that we've been using is too poor.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29765103

We're glad you enjoyed the vore scene! Unfortunately we've been developing this game since before hand controllers were released so it'd be hard to add this feature now. If possible we would've liked to add it too.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29768191

We uploaded a fixed version with the bonus scene included. We uploaded a fixed version with the bonus scene included.

KNekoSpy
>>29763940

It could also be my headset or computer, don't worry about it too much. I have to RMA mine for a different reason anyway. Thanks for replying!

MJ & Aoigai
>>29795876

We didn't change the sound effects but we're glad you liked them nevertheless. The volume of the sound effects does change depending on your distance to Chieri though.

Anonymous

Loving the game a lot! I find it very pleasing that you used New World Rhapsody from Antonín Dvořák as the 17:00 bell sound. What do you think would be the smallest possible size you could do? Technically it could be microscopic, with a special new map.

MJ & Aoigai
>>29879258

New World Rhapsody's 2nd movement is well known in Japan as an evening bell chime. The minimum size we can do is probably 1/1000 or so. We might be able to go a bit further but it'd make the model and lighting issues too apparent so it won't be very nice to look at.

Anonymous

Oh, I didn't know that. That's pretty neat! And are there any plans for such small sizes?

Mk_35

Fantastic update guys!. You continue to provide unique and interesting scenarios with themes that have been done over a thousand times in this fetish. The vore scene was intense, greatly enjoyed this scene. The size comparison with that scene was fun to experience and the sound design on point, well done guys! The continuation on the city scene is exciting! It was awesome to see Chier interact with other people too. I hope this is just the beginning to her reign of terror. I did notice a couple small grammar mistakes in the bread/city chase scenes. Also on my first play through of the city chase scene, the woman you help up was stuck in her running animation throughout the remainder of the two scenes, this stopped after reloading the game and playing those scenes again. These however did not ruin my experience. Solid update! Thank you for the continued hard work that you guys put into this!

MJ & Aoigai
>>29999804

We're glad you enjoyed the update! We're slowly but surely working on the city route. Thanks for telling us about the grammar mistakes, we'll fix them eventually. The bug with the running woman has been fixed in Ver0.561. We hope you'll keep enjoying the game in the future. Thank you.

Mk_35
>>29999804

I plan on it! Game is coming along great! Glad to hear that was fixed, your work is appreciated.
