Sooo, Google is gonna restrict or narrow access to android apps, the devolpment and forbids sideloading from Sep. 26 on forward.

I thought I could stall a SFW apk release till everything got sorted out with the development of Cyberlinxxx for PC. Would have been easier to cut out the most fun part of the VN After it will be finished.But as of now things need to be rerouted. The whole VN needs to be transferred to the latest version of ren'py, codechecked, spellchecked, playchecked and probably needs some renders changed as well. On top of that, I haven't dabbed into android development yet. The apk that is available on itch.io was made by Estrada777. And that awesome dude did some changes to the code to include other QOL stuff. And I don't know any of this. Because coding isn't my strong suit. Maybe we should sign a business contract and he gets 20% of the revenue, if he's down with that(Have to contact him soon and hear what he thinks about it)That means it will be a huge pile of labour that will be waiting for me this summer ... well, I heard it will be a rainy summer anyways sigh

My brainfogged marble between the ears 2 years ago thought it was a good idea to upgrade the visual fidelity while still in development. At that time I really thought that would be a great idea.And then Diabetes 2 striked, and I talked about it before. As far as the pleasantness goes when looking at the renders, that was a big step up from the beginner-me to advanced-me.And they look good, no doubt. The time to implement them wasn't fitting the development though. Who's not the smartest guy in the room? I am

Now I have to pay for it with loosing subscribers. That is a slap to the face well earned.Totally underestimated how fast software "moves". DAZStudio 4.24 is a much better app than 4.12 with which I started.(It's still no competitor to Blender yet the learning curve is much lower and easier)

There have been so many new assets released for sci-fi and more so for the cyberpunk genre, that look so much better than before and there are more to choose from as well.And I want to use them. Giving you the feeling of entering a more or less, believable world you enjoy reading and looking at.

If I was to release a new content update with those new assets and evironments it would create a krass gap in visual fidelity that would upset the player. The middle stuff would still lookold while the new content would show the new assets like rooms, hair, skin texture and other assets. I know that no one would like to see a drop in quality mid-game.

Conclusion

Gotta work on the graphic upgrade first, install every new asset and get everything up to par before registering as a dev with google.

Update that version of Cyberlinxxx to Steam as well

This is the roadmap for the next few months unless some other bad thing happens.

Positive sidenote: You'll get to know Zandra, Geena and Deanna more and the plot has been almost finished for the update that comes after the graphic and SFW apk upgrade. After that, you'll get Trish and Anthea content with Cary-June as well. It will all be coming together in the end. Trust the process.
