Hey Cyberjacks, Dreggheads and Droidlovers,

hope you're doing well.

I feel fucking stressed right now. At first, my ethernet controller stopped working after updating NGreedia drivers. Don't know why, don't know how. It just stopped. Tried reinstalling different LAN Drivers. Asus, Intel, Realtek ... nothing worked. "This device couldn't start"(or whatever it says in english)Wi-Fi was okay. So I used that for a few days while trying to find a solution. Disabling Energy config for USB devices, clean deactivating of ethernet controller and reactivating again, disconnecting LAN cable from PC and shutdown for a minute then plug back in ... Fucking nothing.Then I decided to reisntall the whole network dapters and shot my Wi-Fi with it. Great, no internet. Alright, time for a refresh of Win10. The last measure you can take. But I didn't knew what else to do and it was 2 in the morning and I was tired.

Thought I clicked "Keep apps" but apparently ... I didn't. Fuck.So Win 10 took 15 minutes to reinstall itself and then I got hit with the harsh reality. Almosteverything was gone. Settings, apps, browser, some passwords(got them retrieved after a couple days)

And did you know that you can't log in to bluesky when on Wi-Fi?

If I could have been able to kick myself in the nuts, I would have done it.Got myself together after awhile and started reinstalling every app I had. Luckily Windows creates an html on the desktop of which apps were wiped. Man, a lot of stuff. Got the most useful ones back up and running again. Gotta admit a refresh lets Win run way smoother and gets rid of shit you have done to your PC, good and bad, like regedits. Takes just a few days to find, reinstall and set up everything again. Tedious work and full of the waiting game.

The bad news is that DAZStudio doesn't install clean on the drive you choose, it installs some other shit still on C: and that got wiped. DAZ won't start again and DIM wouldn't start neither.Got the installer for DAZ again. Connected the content again as it was before. But there still is stuff that doesn't work. Mainly, the expression sliders.

As you can see, it only shows the sliders that are already used by the character. But not the ones that were usually showing, like "Eyes relax" or "Mouth close" and all the others. I don't know why they aren't showing. The folder containing the dsf files for them is connected as it should be.Tried reinstalling the Genesis8 starter essentials and other base expression assets from DAZ but they won't show up. What does work are the assets from third parties. Which is the silver lining here. Googled for hours until now and no solution in sight. Gonna ask on the DAZ Forum if anyone else had that problem and hope he/she can help me. Good thing is, that DAZ viewport reacts way faster with a fresh reinstall. Another silver lining.

And DAZ still renders fine. That's a good thing.

Moral of the story.

Always check if you clicked the right setting when refreshing windows.

And you know what? Ethernet controller still isn't working.

EDIT: It looks like some bodymorphs are missing too ... Keely's legs changed shape when testloaded her a few hours ago.
