Red velvet's killing voice like teir discography is split in 2 main categories, their 'red' side which is brighter and 'velvet' which is darker and more mature. So songs like red flavor and dumb dumb are red while bad boy and automatic are velvet. There is also a spectrum of red and velvet songs where most of their songs may be in between as well. In the killing voice they start with primarily red songs and then transition into their velvet tracks

So, I would definitely consider both Seulgi and Joy main vocals as well, especially Seulgi! Joy covered for Wendy part in their song, so she definitely can sing. Red Velvet is one of those groups that all of them are great singers, but yes Wendy shines a lot and she is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop. You should react to songs by Irene & Seulgi they are an INSANE duo. And if you want more insane vocals, you should watch Mamamoo's Killing Voice (they just released a part 2, the first group to do so!) and BTOB's Killing Voice, they are known as the best groups when it comes to singing! Both are 3rd gen. If you want a more recent group, I'd highly recommend NMIXX Tiny Desk, they have a member called Lily that is probably the best singer in the fourth Gen. I would say that when it comes to the best women singers in Kpop the list would go: Ailee, Taeyeon (from Girls Generation), Wendy, Solar (Mamamoo) and Lily (I'm definitely missing a lot of great vocalists)

Aw, thank you! I don’t think I’ve always been as kind as I should be. I can definitely get caught up in the moment and make negative assumptions and that’s led to a few not super positive interactions in here that I’m not particularly proud of. But I’ve been working on it! And even at my worst I’d never resort to hating! I know how happy I’ll be to finally get more Stray Kids so I don’t want to take that feeling away from other people. Plus I’ve never seen a group that wasn’t genuinely talented so I can see the merit in them even if they aren’t completely my vibe :)

Often the loudest mixed in voice in choruses Joy-known for her contagious smile and unique nasal voice tone/ Koreans call her voice a "jade pearl voice" Wendy- Canadian. Energizer of group/ shoots sunshine beams with her voice. Pillar of their songs Seulgi- main dancer, lead singer. (I love Seulgi's voice most- her enunciation / delivery of Korean lyrics is really clear and beautiful) Red Velvet, or SM groups in general have really beautifully written Korean lyrics. Lyric videos for b-sides is a must!

A lot of newer k-pop groups have moved away from assigning them, but they were common in 2nd, 3rd, and early 4th gen groups. To put it into BTS terms… Vocals: Main Vocalist — Jungkook Lead Vocalist — Jimin Rap: Main Rapper — RM Lead Rapper — Suga Basically “main” is usually considered the strongest/most prominent member in that specific area, while “lead” is typically the next most prominent role.

You certainly aren't alone in noticing the talking, but tbf I honestly think the Killing Voices are more fun for the fans than for them. I think watching people you don't know, sing multiple songs you don't know/have never heard, with no visuals, mv, or choreo to keep the entertainment value up, can be awkward/ tedious to react to. I'm not saying that's how they feel, but I can understand why they either feel like they need to say stuff, or why they get side tracked. But I understand why people request them as that may be a rare chance to have them react to multiple songs by a group. They also didn't enjoy reacting to multiple songs on a full album so their group attn span when there isn't a lot of visual stuff going on, may be minimal, which I get based on the other types of highly visual things they tend to react to.
