Omg yay!!! I’m buzzing right nowwwww!! Okay, members from left to right: Jongho, San, Wooyoung, Yeosang, Hongjoong, Yunho, Mingi, and Seonghwa. The leader is Hongjoong ( a tip to find the leader is whoever starts the group introduction or gives them a countdown like “1,2”) This group is known for their powerful live performances, intense choreography, strong stage presence, and storyline/concept-heavy music. Their fandom is called ATINY, which combines ATEEZ + DESTINY, basically meaning that ATEEZ and their fans were destined to meet. They officially debuted on October 24, 2018. But before that they had this show/documentary called “KQ Fellaz” in which they went to the US to train. They had an extra member back then whom they’re still friends with today ( as far as I know).

ATEEZ are sooo talented, especially live 😭 their concerts and tours are top tier. and Jongho’s voice is literally a powerhouse 😭 some of my favorite songs to see in concert are Cyberpunk, Guerrilla, WORK, WIN and Wake Up. they’re seriously insane live 🔥

Ateez are similar to BTS in the way that their growth has been 100% organic, especially coming from a small company that only stayed afloat due to their success. They are 4th gen and have been very underappreciated, especailly nationally (in Korea). It wasn't until their recent Comeback (Their song "Bad") went viral that they are starting to gain more and more recognition and traction in Korea. Despite not being super popular in their home counrty, Ateez is pretty popular internationally, especially when they intergrate genres like latin pop and reggea into their music. They loooove to experiment with their sound with Hongjoong, the leader, rapper and yes the one with glasses, as one of their main producers. Both rappers write their own lyrics and participate in producing. They are also known as the Performace Kings, where they give like 1000% to their live and dance performances. If ya'll really want to get into them you should watch their Cochella performance (they are the first ever Kpop boy group to perform there and it was insaneeee). They each love what they do and it is super noticable even when they do their solo projects. Please pleaseeee check out more of their music videos, their lore is so cool and a lot of their cinematography is out of this world (pls watch Guerilla and then Halazia for maximum cinematic viewing)

Give Jongho his flowers 💐 His voice is insane!! Good grief.... Hearing him belt those notes always gives me chills. It also sounds so serene and comforting with his soft vocal parts. It's always so satisfying and leaves my jaw on the floor. ATEEZ is a complete powerhouse with vocals, performance, and dancing. McKay asking if they dance a lot? I laughed because their choregraphy is next level like seriously god-tier. They have so much aura. Their stage presence is unbelievable and mesmerizing to watch. Their energy is explosive. Ya'll were spot on guessing that glasses guy was the leader. He is our fierce captain, Kim Hongjoong. I love his rap tone. It's gritty and keeps your vocus. His range is so interesting. Also, I chuckled when Cannon called Mingi the guy with white hair and brown vest, a chad because that's very accurate! Lol He does remind me of Felix with his deep intense voice. His rap definitely gets your attention. He looks intimidating but he's actually a soft marshmallow. I'm so glad ya'll loved them! ATEEZ's music videos are really really good and cinematic with a lot of lore. Lore for days... and it's kind of hard to follow. And my personal favorites with their music videos are Pirate King, Say My Name, Treasure, Hala Hala, Wave, Answer, Turbulence, The Real, Halazia, Guerrilla, Adrenaline. Whelp I guess all of them. And the dance practices are pretty goated, too. They are powerful dancers with strong precision definitely a force to be reckoned with. They don't play around 😂

Wave was my comfort song during COVID in 2020. It helped me feel more calm and less scared. Everytime I hear it, I get so much nostalgia. It's that perfect song to chill with on a hot summer's day. It's uplifting, bright, and such a cute fun music video.

As a new Atiny I recently discovered the "It's You" song with Yeosang, San and Wooyoung, and omg I was completely blown away by Yeosang at the beginning of the song especially at a specific part... I hadn't recognized his voice and wow I didn't know he could sing with that type of voice, the man has big potential, they need to give him more parts and have him show off his vocals in a different way, he's a gem

And one thing about Sohyang’s journey is crazy too 😭 she’s been singing for decades. She went through pneumonia for almost 3 years, with constant coughing, breathing problems, and even times when she couldn’t practice properly. She was genuinely scared she might never be able to sing again, but she kept going and eventually made her way back to performing while she was still dealing with it. The fact that she went through all that and still has THAT voice at 48, after everything she’s been through, is insane to me 😭

Pretty cool, right? It's also why the vocal placement sounds so different between him and his other members, the most notable being Yeosang, who tends to sing a bit further back in his throat, rather than up in his nose and mouth! On the other hand, Jongho and Hongjoong have similar placements, both being up front, but their technique is completely different, with Jongho using his mixed voice more often to keep those belts nice and clear while still being powerful and healthy, whereas HJ is more likely to experience vocal fatigue due to his choice of placement and tone being very strenuous on the vocal chords! Lucky for him he isn't a primary vocalist or he'd probably have some serious sore throat pretty frequently.

Yunho's dancing was adorable and I love his bubbly and cheerful personality but yeah guys his dancing is rather impressive and sharp with such precision and balance since he's the main dancer. It for sure shows in all their choregraphy and especially during their KQ Fellaz days. I noticed him right off the bat. Anyway, his soft vocals are also very soothing. Both him and Seonghwa compliment each other so well. I love the sound of their voices together especially during Treasure. It almost puts me in trance... They blend beautifully and perfectly.

A guide would be soo cool and supply them with a lot of helpful information about the members as well as explain the lore some but it's still kind of confusing to me. I’ve been an ATEEZ fan since they released “Wonderland,” and I’ve always felt like they were underrated. I always thought they would eventually get the same level of recognition as BTS. I’ve been listening to K-pop since 2016, when BTS released “Blood, Sweat & Tears,” and that’s when I fell in love with K-pop. I became a fan of so many different groups, but ever since I discovered and watched ATEEZ, they gave me a completely different vibe.
