With the release of the game this week on the Switch 2 (which I really wish I had haha) and while I waited for the results of our poll, I thought I would add in some Wolf o'donnell into the picture as an alt version :3

The gameplay has improved, it's really smooth and responsive. You also got the cut scenes that get you more into "the story" with the Starfox team and deliver on the space opera style. Other than that and the new multiplayer thingie yeah, updated graphics. But very good updated graphics.

The graphics are incredible. I can't believe the cutscenes are rendered realtime for how great they look. The soundtrack is orchestrated, voice lines improved, voice actors improved, plays very well with a lot of effort and attention put into making it top notch and cinimatic. Attention to characters, story, and lore. It's amazing at 4K in docked mode and great in handheld mode with punchy force feedback and 120Hz. Glorious ending on the hard path too.

If you were ever a fan, this is the way you always wished it could be. Epic cinema experience that immerses you well. I can't believe it runs on a switch. Tasteful alterations to some cheesy lines, with Fox having a few he knows are lame and the team rolls their eyes. He did it on purpose, but he's also witty and gives it back smartly. Use a Switch 2 Pro for a smooth, excellent control experience and enjoy. As I write this review something is going on in the background above.
