Trying out new epic render technique yeah

I just discovered how to fake the sharpen effect in SAI omg?? I've been using this program for 10+ years and I'm still discovering new tricks, what is this sorcery

I'm on a super old version of SAI though, so no clue if newer ones already have finally built this in JDFKJD

Anyway, here's some (unofficial) Coal and Snow redesigns!! they look cool and I feel they finally fit the sci-fi vibe, but I'd probably perish animating these, so they might just live on as alternate design

THE SHARPEN EFFECT LOOKS SO COOL?? You think it’ll be okay if i tried it too? :o

Terenry

YA OF COURSE!! I'm sure CSP has this by default on Filter > Sharpen but if you wanna try this method, it has a few steps, but you get more control over the sharpen intensity merge the drawing to 1 layer > duplicate layers > turn the top layer saturation to 0 > duplicate the layer > clip layer to the bottom one > edit tab > tonal correction > reverse gradient > set layer blending mode on TOP to Vivid Light > set layer BELOW to Overlay > finally filter tab > blur > gaussian blur and increase just a bit that's it sjsdkj
