originally I wanted to render everything in Procreate but I gave up at the rocks LOLthis first background was mostly just me testing brushes + rendering styles, and I went for something more Studio Ghibli inspired of course

I actually own the Nicker poster Colours they used for Ghibli backgrounds :OI thought about using them here, but honestly I'm kinda out of practice with traditional painting, especially backgroundsI've done some gouache practice before, although these pieces are from over a year ago

I'll probably chill a bit with the rest of the backgrounds fjdkfjd we'll see how it goesalso planning to record some of the animation process :D
