A few R-Tea doodles I made a while ago when I was trying to brainstorm his armor designI wanted to finish the first piece, but it ended up being a bit too complex, and I don't really have the time for it right now xDI also haven't drawn Otaime in a while, speaking of him,,I guess I never actually explained Otaime's curse, despite his story literally being called The Emperor's Curse lol

I originally meant to explain it later in the story, after I finished writing R-Tea's backstory, but basically, Otaime can't stay in the mortal world for too long, if he does, he'll slowly start turning into a silver statue,

This happens when Otaime is assassinated by one of the Silver Wolves, who also steal his treasure, and in the spirit world, he makes a pact with a great spirit in order to return to the mortal world, but he must also deal with a curse in returnbut with the power of the treasure, he's able to control the curse, and therefore, rule over the mortal world

ALSO SMALL PATREON UPDATE, I finally update the collections!!(I haven't finished adding all the posts yet, but I'm halfway there)Let me know what you think/ if you have any suggestions for other collections :3I was thinking of a "Designs" collection for custom designs/adopts maybe, I also added new tags to include the art program I used

New Patreon design looks so good! And btw, can I ask something about “Patreon thumbnail” in DM's? (I’m just worried I might be bothering you Anyway, cute artwork as always

Terenry

yes sure! I'll check DMs

Xervyn

already asked :3

Really love the new thumbnails for the collections!! I was wondering if yoy ever thought of doing like speed draws on any of the tradi artworks you’ve done? But I can see why not or why it’d be difficult for that…

In the third drawing, theres something so charming in the way you used the colours, and how messy/natural you used the lines, its honestly eye candy to me.. also the collections looks so pretty and organised !!!!

Terenry

Ohh I've tried that before, but I can never seem to find the right setup for recording traditional art But now that you mention it, I'll consider giving it a try!

THAMK U!!! I used a bunch of color overlays for that doodle xD

The contrast between the smooth bold lines and grainy color pencils is dreamy to look at. I also find the battlefield on the side of the second to last drawing very goofy
