I liked your reaction, Larissa but I want to clarify some items. First, the "lead singer" ate disgusting samples at the market and paid for it with intestinal problems and couldn't perform her routine on stage. Next you see her getting into the back of a truck with a roll of toilet paper, and you may have confused her with the "donut dolly". American forces were stationed mainly in firebases around the country, and they endured nightly mortar and rocket attacks. On rare occasion USO would come to give brief shows and then scurry back to safer bases. The usual tour of duty was one year, and then ride the "Freedom Bird" home, hopefully without any signs of visible damage. Unfortunately, in too many cases the damage was too deep to see.
