I really love this episode!I love how Sam went out of his way to get Hilla justice,even when everyone including Al tried to tell him that he was wrong about her being murdered and to bury her and be done with it.He was right about her being murdered,but,he was wrong about who did it and how it happened until the end!It turns out that she was murdered because Stephanie could'nt handle rejection.I also love the end when Sam and Al are at her grave and it's snowing and he reads the Mark Twain poem "Goodnight,Dear Heart"and then he leaps!

I think those flashes that Sam was having was Hilla's spirit begging him to help her get justice for her death,so her soul could rest in peace!I might be wrong,but that's my theory on it!

Well,I heard,people did'nt really know how homosexuality or bisexuality worked in the 50's,either!Some people actually thought it was a mental illness that needed to be cured with Electric Shock treatment!
