I wanted to share this happy update with you because I'm still sitting here in disbelief. hahaha! :D 

And also wanted to say.... I have a little surprise for you!!!! In two days. ;P

Awesome news Malu! Looking forward to the surprise and the album! Hope it also gets released to Google Play as I have sold my soul to Google instead of Apple. I also get anxious over 3rd party dependencies that I can't control, then I get angry when they don't deliver lol.

Oh and a reverb-less TDC would be cool to have, milk it for all it's worth, that's what I say 😀 Oh and the artwork looks great too!

How dare you post such a headline! LOL! You really had me worried the whole Skyrim thing was off or your voice had resigned to live on remote sunny beaches forever or something like that! :D This is great news, can't wait to see how it goes on. And I'd love reverbless versions!

Hey Malu, that is indeed very good news! You are leaving us in suspense, I'm very curious now to see what the music is gonna be :D. Also I tried to distinguish the songtracks for the album. The first one is the only one I didn't mention at all. And then there's the 'Back of the ...' (something I couldn't figure out). Would that be a new one? ;) What I did (or rather didn't) notice in the list is that 'the Sovngarde Song' you did with Gavin isn't there. Is that just forgotten on this print or won't that be included at all in the album?

I like the idea about the song without reverb...I play alot of your songs on repeat anyway so having different versions of the same song means less buttons I have to push! Oh, and I got my Malukah t-shirt in the mail yesterday! Now I HAVE to have the cd too!

Very good news Malukah! Just remember that if you expect the worst you can only be pleasantly surprised😉. I think if will be a great idea doing a version without reverb . it would give it a more bard vibe to it!

I thought only in Germany you need a licence for everything :D. It would have been pretty silly not giving you theh licence, because they know there is no one else out there that can sing and perform the Skiyrim Song slike you. Oh and donßt fight with yourself because it took you longer than you wanted. Those who walk the path slowly will arrive earlier than those who never start moving. Long story short, I can´t wait for my physical copy :D.

This is true, I was definitely surprised by this particular outcome. Maybe what I need to try is to not imagine such catastrophic worst-case scenarios that involve the world ending, etc. Maybe just try to be more realistic and thing, "well, they could say no..." hahaha

This is true... as much as there is a tendency to want to beat myself down for taking so long to do things, deep down I know it's the right way for me to proceed. Other people may move faster, but at this pace is how I get to really experience everything and learn and grow from it. So, I agree. Slowly but surely moving forward is a good thing in the end!

Hahahahahahahahaha! Yep. We shall. And yeah!!! I was suuuuuper happy when I was able to get ahold of Ilya, known and Raiddo on deviant art, who made this years ago. He kindly allowed me to use this for the cover! He made this in 2012? I think, or maybe even 2011 right after Dragonborn and I remember thinking "if I ever make a Skyrim album, that would be the cover." Woooooo!

Hey, that just means your intentions worked well. It's the point of a teaser to get us excited for the album, isn't it? I'm just a bit overzealous ;p. It's a shame that Legends of the Frost isn't in, but I understand the reasons. It's not like I don't already have the song anyway. :)

Oh I forgot your question. I would love a version of Dragonborn without reverb. The original version, without reverb barked by Thor you can put everything on it haha.

Ooooh, CD layouts (those template programs changed the world). :=) :=) When a song like TDC is compositionally strong, it begs to be covered/arranged/interpreted, even when you've done it before. No reverb? Why not. (but I vote for a few background vocals or maybe a little guitar layering? Or a piano version???)
