Hey guys! One final check-in before we start recording the album tomorrow. OGMOGMOGMOGMOGMOGMGOMGOMGMGO I'm freaking out.

In this video, I talk a bit about the things that go into producing an album. The different kind of tasks, responsibilities, and some ways to communicate with people involved in the project.

After so many years of working alone, it has been refreshing to get to talk to people, coordinate, etc. I'm loving every second of iiiiiit!

Big hug. Prepare for the lens spam tomorrow (on the Patreon app). I'll also be posting stories on Instagram. Add me if you want! http://www.instagram.com/malukah

I have no idea how I'm going to manage to sleep.

Seriously.

Hahahaha :D

Love and thanks,Malu

Good luck Malu, Omi, Thor, and band! You can do it! Collaborative thingies!

Thalandor46

ALL OF THE VIBES! Best of luck with everything! You got this! Also, for the back of your mind, I'm assuming that the Oregon trip is to CD Baby? I happen to live reasonably close to them. I know it's a business trip, so I'm not gonna push for Malucon PDX or anything like that. But if it would be helpful for you to have someone local to help you out while you're in town, feel free to get in touch :)

All the best Malu and enjoy it! :)

Hey Thalandor! I’ll be going to Eugene because that’s where the shipping company that mails my CD’s is. I distributed with CD Baby for years. They are awesome. Only recently switched. Is Eugene still close to you? Maybe we can have a “help Malu pack CD’s meetup???” Hahahaha or something :) I’ll keep you guys posted.

Thalandor46

Hrm. Eugene is less convenient. It's about 2 hours away, as opposed to the 30 minutes I originally thought. I might be able to make that work if you need the help, but it would probably require some planning, and might depend on the day of the week. But we don't need to worry about that possibility right now. Focus on your studio work, and we can come back to this thought when the time gets closer :)

I know this is an old post, but...my goodness. As a musician, you are SO talented to set all this up and be so organized. This is exactly how I like to work! If I were doing some of the sound recording/editing for you, I'd be so thankful for the work you've done behind the scenes. Well done! I'm glad it went well.
