You guuuuuys, I am working against the clock trying to post this new version of Reignite on November 7, for N7 Day. We were chatting about this in the hangout and I was able to get the recording finished.

I will tell you more about all of this over the weekend. Right now I have to go clean my room. And sleep. But if you can, please take a listen and let me know how it feels. :)

I am loving this new version of Reignite. i am a HUGE Mass Effect fan, and lost track of how many times i listened to the original version. I love how the echo ish effect that comes at 1.29 and later on kinda sounds like it is traveling from one side to the other, kinda like a doppler effect, it is awsome!

Loving it! I have a slight constructive criticism though. At the build up around 2:14, instead of sliding with the guitar you should try it with a bass or electric guitar set to heavy metal madness. It is not ruining the song, but kinda makes the build up fizz out if you understand. But all in all the song is amazing! :-D And with the pressure you are having aswell. Now go clean your room. No dinner or tv before that is done, you understand young lady?

I like the little electronic accents. Very Mass Effect-y You may wanna let that build a little more into the last chorus to make it sound more epic. Now it seems to build it to something and then it goes away. It's good though, not saying it isn't. But it feels the last chorus lacks some punch.

The first half feels somehow "softer" to me, which is not bad at all, I just noticed it. Whereas the build up to ~2:14 and everything from there seems to have the same old, good Malu-punch I always liked about this (no wonder the 2nd half of Reignite was, is and forever will be my fav part of this track). But in total, I guess I'll be totally fine with the final version if it is close enough to this mix. :D

REALLY love the synth bits. It's also nice to see all the elements working with a little breathing space this time around (I'm not sure why, maybe it's the subtler reverb?). Nice chemistry here. <3 <3 <3 <3

Happy N7 Day Malukah, the remix sounds great. I like the background motif at about the 1:30 mark in this version.
