New Cover Video: Nostalgia (Patreon)

Fiiiiinally. Here it iiiiis.

Over the past few months, I've spoken vaguely about this cover. Now, I can share more.

Nostalgia is a song by composer Wei-Fan Chang for the video-game Asterigos. It's an upcoming action fantasy RPG from ACME Gamestudio. The game will be out October 11 (PC, Xbox, Playstation).

I was contacted by Wei-fan's representative Mariusz Borkowski about this opportunity. I remember at first, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to accept. My world was upside down because I'd given birth to Dante a few months earlier and was still in the middle of "What the holy crap happened to me and to my life and WHAT IIIIIISSS THISSSSS" post-partum haze.

I felt I was never in my life going to be able to work again. I couldn't even find time to floss. It was intense. (Keep in mind, I'm extra sensitive. It's not THIS overwhelming for everyone) I replied to the email honestly and explain my current situation. Thankfully, they were able to be flexible about the timeline!

This has been the hardest song I've ever transcribed by ear. There were 2 or 3 chords I didn't get quite right, but the rest were pretty accurate and I felt like a music professional. hahaha It took me a whole week to transcribe this. Please listen to the original. The harmony is so RIIIICH.
