Hey guys! It's back! The Malukast. And it features the premiere of a new song called Driving.

I've shared this song with you in the process. It's finally done, and since it was related to what I talked about in the episode, I thought I'd go ahead and introduce it here.

I really enjoyed recording this podcast and I hope that it's a project I can continue. It has a positive effect that makes me happy and hopeful.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I send you a big hug from Mexico,

Malu

I've spent to a lot of my life worrying about what people think I look like and if I fit in. At one point I just figured, screw it. I want to wear what I think looks cool. And Malu, pardon me for being blunt, you are not at all fat. And this isn't me being all woke and stuff cause I don't like that myself.. You look fine, don't let other people make you feel awkward.

i think all women struggle with their self image. I have all my life. Imo, you are not overweight, you are truly gorgeous. It's about being comfortable in your own skin, which is really hard i know. Love you Malu, you are amazing, beautiful and so talented. many hugs from a chilly sweden.

I have no clue what “wifey” or “mother” clothes look like. Quite frankly, I don’t care and never did. Why do people feel they have to change their outward appearance during a milestone in their lives? I never really heard of this. Our world these days is too focused on materialistic things that we think make us happy, e.g., if I make this much money, I would be happy; if I buy the same make up as this celebrity, I will be happy; if I dress the way other women dress, I will be happy. So much of this so-called happiness is contingent on external factors, which we think are valuable in our lives. But in reality, we need to look internally through self-reflection. We need to discern what exactly the meaningful aspects of our lives are. For example, why do you feel compelled to dress like the other wives? Does it determine how you mother your child? If you don’t conform and put out the perception that you’re “one of them” by dressing like them, how does this affect your true authentic self (and is it worth it)? Many people put out the perception that they have a perfect life, so we don’t know their own insecurities or adversities. Some people buy expensive clothes, cars, etc. only to appear as if these things make them happy. But in actuality, they could be empty and lonely shells, with thousands of dollars in debt. Don’t worry so much about comparing yourself to other people, but most of all, about other people’s perception of you. In the end, you will never know what they’re thinking/judging and you might be surprised that they might look at you with envy because your light shines through no matter what you’re wearing. If you have self-respect, your inner beauty and self-confidence would radiate, making these events of insecurities seem unworthy and inconsequential as they occur throughout your life’s journey. Keep on driving! Love you!!!

I agree with Panda here about wifey clothes. I dunno, maybe it's a cultural thing? I could never imagine someone here saying this. Having to wear wive's clothes is certainly not a thing here. Also, can I say how happy I am to listen to your Malukast again. There's something so comforting about it. I think it's the mix of listening to your soothing voice with the accompanying music along with your commentaries. That makes me feel good! I just wanted you to know. Have a wonderful day!
