Happy New Year! (Patreon)

I can't believe it. December 31st. Some of you are starting to celebrate the New Year already. 

We're getting ready to have a barbecue here, or "carne asada".

This year was an emotional whirlwind.

When Dante was born, it was a whirlwind getting used to the new rhythm of life and caring for a newborn.

After living in this new rhythm of life a couple of years, I now realize I have to incorporate more of myself back into it. I finally understand what parents mean when they are looking for "balance" between parenthood and their individual lives. How does one achieve this? Holy crap.

That is one of my main goals for 2023.

I want to thank you for still being here with me through all of this. I know I haven't been the most productive musician, but I truly truuuly believe that all I've experienced lately will be fueling my writing and composition for years to come.

Thank you for giving me the safety net to be able to live through this. Please know, you have helped me grow like never before. As a human and a musician. In so many ways, my mind and heart have expanded. And I've never felt more determined to push forward and keep creating more.

And after a lot of ups and downs, today, as I write this, I feel happy. And more importantly, hopeful.
