Ahh I could almost smell the new hardware :D SSDs are awesome, enjoy it Malu! Also remember to have backups! p.s. there's a small typo in the post title.

Se ve re lindo!, para mi gabinete no haría falta, pero es taaan lindo!! compraria mas HDD solo para cómprame uno de esos jaja. Los SSD, son una maravilla, tuve la suerte de poder comprar uno... es un +10 a la pc. Saludos malu :)

malukah

Qué bien que pudiste comprar uno. En verdad hace una diferencia impactante!

malukah

Oooh, thanks. Fixed it! :D And yes, I must remember to back up! :D Now, I'll have enough drives to do that. hehe!

Molmod

Nice bit of kit. Very slotty :-)

Lucinda Schlather

Great piece of equipment! I might look into getting one myself, lol. It's wonderful!

malukah

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This has to be the #1 comment of this month. hahahahaha! Oh, I am still laughing. :D Very slotty, indeed! :D

malukah

<3 I'll keep you guys posted on how well it works! I am just now about an hour away from finishing the file transfers. It was several TB's.

malukah

Haha! Isn't it such a cool idea? I'm just finishing transferring all data and will start finally using it in the afternoon. I have high hopes that it will integrate nicely. I'll make sure to give you guys an update in a couple of weeks as to how everything's going with this Akitio system thing. :D

Heidi

Nice, that looks very useful. I just realized I only have about 100gb left on my 1tb HDD so I might need to upgrade someday :P I'm looking forward to your new album this year :)

mdkmr2

That's awesome, I haven't seen this setup before! I have a SSD for my OS and a 6TB HDD for my game library but I am having a hard time filling it up. I'm not a big game collector like thesawolf. 🤣

malukah

Hehe! It's been working well so far! I'm still a bit nervous of how it will handle the pressure once I work on some more sample sounds intensive projects... we'll see. I'm hopeful!
