This is another video I'm glad I got to make before moving. It's interesting how as time went by, I kept building this room little by little. It wasn't until I had to pack everything up that I realized just how much I had customized this space and how much I loved it. 

Most of my recent thoughts about it had been, "This room is too small. I can't fiiiiit." But, it was a great place to have. <3 <3 <3

Thanks for the tour Malu, it was interesting to see your setup! Now I have an urge to buy better speakers :D Must... resist... I hope your Apogee sound interface is OK, you mentioned yesterday that it wasn't working.

haha! Careful, once you start to buy better things, you can't stop. hahaha! It is a curse. hahaha! :D Thanks for watching, Tommy! And YES, the Apogee survived! It turns out I was a doofus and hadn't connected the USB cable to the computer. Just the power supply. The interface doesn't turn on if the USB is not connected and I had no idea... hehe. Oops.

Hehe maluFacepalm, I'm glad it's OK! I'll be careful, no new speakers because I don't want to bother the neighbors. I'll just get some new headphones instead, and maybe a dedicated sound card, and possibly an amp for the headphones and... oh yeah I need a DAC too right?

Nice Mali. And yes moving can show how much "stuff" one accumulates. Moving was always a big part of my life so I can feel you ! It will take a bit, but you will get it back to where it feels right to you. Hope you can get that grounding / return problem fixed soon, can cost equipment and be dangerous so please be careful. Hey John! :D I can take a while to get used to everything, for sure. And holy crap. I hope I don't have to move again for at least 2 years. hahahaha! :D An electrician will be coming by the house tomorrow, to hopefully resolve the grounding issue. I hope it's not too complicated or pricey-- though, the price is worth it if it protects the gear we have. And thank you for watching! :D

Well worth the price for the gear, but also to protect Malu and Omi . We don't want bad things happening there . Lol try 23 moves in 21 years at one point. Not fun 😞 A few more too so yea, not fun.

Cool, thanks for sharing what your old studio looks like. Can't wait to see how the new one looks :) I don't know very much about music equipment but it's quite interesting. Since you switch to DST this weekend, I'll get to your streams more often now :D

What is the model of your headphones ? I'd really like totry get one of this for me..

My favorite headphones for working on music are the Sony Mdr-7506. I broke my old pair (because I'm not careful with cables) and right now I'm using a pair of mixing headphones which are more expensive (so I'm even more afraid of breaking them haha) and they are Shure SRH1540.
