Thank You Very Much, Malu:) Very interesting and thanks for your insight on the why of this one. It was very helpful indeed. I think what they are calling " compressors " is an AGC really. ( Automatic Gain Control ) The adjustments set a avgeraging point or range and as the input senses the incoming levels it Cuts / Boosts the gain to keep the wave form within the set range. It can be very helpful in the right applications. hmmmmmm such as cutting the above mentioned Malupanic and thus saving many ears ;) Thank you again for doing this, and things like this are part of the reason you really are one of my favorite Ladies :)

malukah

Glad it was helpful, John! :D And thank you for the lovely compliment.

malukah

Hahahahahahahahahaahahaha! Exactly. Goodbye creepy Logic fails! :D

Heidi

Cool, I never knew how useful those boards with dials and switches were :) I'm glad it makes everything work better now. I used a big version of something like that when I ran the soundboard for high school theatre, but all I did was turn it on and adjust the volume :P

Inaala Nailo (Ina)

I sent you an I.M. xD Great video, thanks for sharing!! I less than 3 you malu!

malukah

Yay! Thanks for your question! :D I'll be sure to answer it! Less than 3 you, 2! hahaha!

malukah

Oooh, it's super cool you got to do that! Theater can be daunting because there are usually many live mics to consider!!!!

Heidi

Yeah, I was kind of nervous making sure all the mics and stuff were working properly. The equipment was really old and I had to make sure not to change any important switches :P

malukah

Glad you like it! And thanks for watching! :D
