Hey everyone! As I’m stepping into my 5th month here on Patreon, I’ve been taking a closer look at my workflow and schedule. After reviewing everything, I realized a few things needed to change so I can deliver the best experience without burning out. Here are the updates:

1. Removal of the Monthly Raffle

In the beginning, I wanted to host a monthly raffle as a fun perk for members. However, after reviewing my production schedule repeatedly, it has become clear that managing a raffle creates a logistical mess that disrupts my core creative workflow.

Furthermore, due to our current smaller member count, previous raffles didn't quite function the way I originally hoped. To keep my focus 100% locked onto creating actual art and projects for you, I am officially removing the raffle feature for now and leaving this tier perk blank. If things scale up significantly in the future and I have the operational bandwidth to manage it properly, I might revisit it, but for now, this is the right call to keep my output consistent.

2. Introducing a New Project: Greyscale Comic

To keep things fresh and expand my creative horizons, I’m launching an experimental new project, a greyscale (black and white) comic series.

You might be wondering: “Why greyscale? Why not full color?” The honest answer comes down to resource management and pacing. Full color illustrations require an immense amount of time and energy per piece. By shifting to a clean, expressive greyscale style, I can drastically cut down the rendering hours per page, allowing me to focus more heavily on panel composition, storytelling, and maintaining a steady release schedule without sacrificing quality. (though calling it a "skill issue" wouldn't be entirely wrong either)... ahem... Jokes aside, I want to push my storytelling and paneling skills.

Where & When to Access: The comic pages will be hosted in a separate Dropbox folder. Executive and Chief tier supporters will have permanent access to it. As for the release schedule, it will likely take 1 to 2 months to complete a 2-4 page update, as I am still learning the ropes of comic pacing and sequential art. Anyway, every 2 to 4 pages of the comic will count as 1 full content update. This means you will still receive your customary 4 updates per month, just like before.

To be completely honest, sequential art and writing aren't my strongest suits yet, Panel flow, pacing, and narrative structure are all brand new challenges for me, but I really want to learn and improve step by step. Thank you so much for sticking with me through this journey!

Lastly, a quick note on the Dropbox link: I will start updating the link monthly from now on (or right after the first artwork of the month is posted).

New artwork will be coming very soon. Take care, stay comfy, and I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! ^^
