The performance has left the training room.

In FIRST DAUGHTER PROTOCOL — Episode 3: “The Tell,” Dan Mercer must now live as Charlotte Callahan in front of the people who know the President's daughter best.

At first, the impossible deception appears to be working. A private afternoon with the First Family goes better than expected. Familiar routines can be improvised. A demanding public engagement becomes proof that Dan may finally be learning how to survive inside Charlie's life.

But a convincing performance is not the same as a perfect one.

Victoria begins noticing details that no one else sees: a missing memory, an instinctive gesture, an unexpected reaction and a pattern that should not exist. As small inconsistencies accumulate, a mother's concern becomes something sharper—and a private conversation on the White House grounds turns into the most dangerous test Dan has faced since PROTEUS.

Every performance has a tell. This time, Dan may not be the only person hiding one.

Awesome. I thought Agent Ward was going to be the other Proteus patient, but the FLOTUS . . .what a great twist. As for when I figured it out it was probably when the FLOTUS and Charly were walking on the road in front of the White House. I did know that the FLOTUS had figured out Charly was not the real one when they were at the Sterling Foundation shindig. A hearty well done grasshopper!

This was a great episode. I’m hoping that they both stay as women cause it’s more important to keep the president stable.

Dan doesn't seem comfortable as Charlie, it is a mystery if he will be get used as a woman, but who knows what will happen next? :)

Okay, I have watched this a few times and am beginning to suspect Agent Ward had been . . . arranging accidents so whoever she REALLY works for, maybe Voss, could replace the FLOTUS and FDOTUS. Not sure why just yet as this is still a new thought. Especially, after the FLOTUS' reaction to learning of Agent Ward's involvement and calling the latter a VIPER.

Is there a way to go back to view episodes 1&2?

What a great twist to the story. I wonder what will happen next. Could Charlie fall in love with that boy & then he be forced to become the President after he is assassinated. That would make things even more complicated.
