Hi everyone!

About this time last year I ran a poll to see which versions of Foundry VTT most people were using, as there was a backward compatibility issue after the release of V11. At that time the general consensus was that most people were sticking with V19 or V10 for the time being so we continued creating our modules in V10 to have both backwards and forwards compatibility.

We want to ensure our Foundry modules are usable by as many people as possible, but we would also love to make use of all the new features in V11, and the new stable V12 release as well so I would like to see what has changed in the last 12 months.

Please answer with whichever version of Foundry VTT you are currently using, unless you plan to update to a newer version in the next couple of months then please select that version instead.

I'll move to v12 in about 5-6 mo. Need to finish current campaigns and ensure modules get updated. Thx for poll and content.

Kyra van den Berg

I'm probably moving to v12 in the next month or so, just waiting on the last few modules to update.

Uwe Hausbrand

Moving to v12 when midi-qol is ready.

Jason Crain

I just use the latest release. That does mean some of my world system and modules are unusable, (looking at you Blade Runner) but I figure they will all be updated eventually.

Jack Thias

I plan to move to v12 soon, but I’m in no rush

James Taylor

v12 has a lot of modules that may never get updated. So I'm sticking with v11 for the foreseeable future.

Ben Ohlander

My campaigns tend to run Jan-Nov, so I'll wait until the break before I upgrade to 12.

Aaron Morgan

I have both running on my server but my games are on v11. Lots of mods I make a lot of use of are still not ready for v12.

Tom Boucher

I'm waiting for BW to update to 12 but plan to go pretty quickly once it's out, we're on V11 until then.

MasterTamari

Currently using v11, but plan to switch to v12 in a couple months once all my modules are updated.

Mark Sim

I've been fooled once before by switching before all my favorite mods are ready. Not this time! I can wait, V11 works great.

The Duke In Purple~

Currently running V11 because not all my modules are updated yet and some are woefully broken on V12. But as soon as the most important stuff works, I'll upgrade to V12.

Theala Sildorian

I'll probbaly be switching to v12 soon. I'm just waiting to see how the new version affects Sandbox.

Titan Terrain

Most of my systems & modules wont be updated anytime soon, so I'm sticking with v11. I'm always one version behind around the time the next version launches, so likely wont update to 12 until 13 is out :P
