Places of Worship

Blood Shrine

Hidden deep in the void , this temple clings silently to the rock face. It is unclear how or when it was built, time seems a distant concept in the endless depths of the chasm. Those who tend to it and serve its Gods know only one thing: It. Must. Be. Fed.

Ryokan Exterior Scene

The Ryokan is an ideal stop for travellers on their journey. Although simple in its furnishing and appearance, a comfortable, quiet night is all but guaranteed. So much so that even families are known to frequent them, choosing to avoid the rowdier inns and taverns favoured by adventuring parties and other less savoury folks.

Okami Chiyo runs this particular Ryokan, and her dedication to hospitality and the comfort of her guests is unparalleled. She will go to any lengths to ensure all in her establishment get a hot meal, a relaxing bath and a good night’s rest. Those who get in the way of this endeavour are sure to incur her considerable wrath.

Finras Nightbeam - Finras Nightbeam had always dreamed of owning his own tavern. A lively spot where locals and travellers alike would convene, share stories and make merry late into the night. He saved money, made the right connections with local breweries and merchants and spent time working in other establishments to learn the ropes.

Vettorio De Accora - Charismatic concierge of the Sarrios Bay Boutique Hotel. Simultaneously capable of dealing with the upper echelons of polite society and their criminal counterparts. He is very well connected in both worlds and 'knows a guy' for everything.

Edge of Innovation by David N. Ross - 1st to 3rd Level

The heroes have a chance to prove themselves as rising stars of a magical research academy by facing down dangerous undead awakened by unnatural storms. Their efforts can create a unique spell that they will be able to cast on future adventures.

This adventure takes place on the mountain cliffs overlooking the southern end of the Moribund Sea in the world of Cartosia, but can easily be adapted to a high elevation area in any campaign setting.

Brawl Under The Blossoms

Vileblood Bomb for 5e & PF2E

This volatile looking glass vial is filled with a writhing and squirming red substance tinged with green and black rot that seems to be in a constant state of motion. An attempt has been made to keep this vial sealed shut with a length of rope that has been wrapped around it, securing the cork in place. A slight scent of iron and putrid flesh seeps from it at all times.

Putriphlemer for 5e & PF2E

Putriphlemers are uniquely terrifying in the way that they present themselves. They are hulking and formidable forms that often shroud the entirety of their bodies to hide the twisted nature of their limbs and the putrefaction of their flesh from continued experimentation in blood magics and alchemy. They often reek of iron and rot, bringing with them an air of horror upon sight. Something unique about them is that they carry mass amounts of their corrupted life essence on their backs in giant tanks which they use in their alchemical works.
