Forgot to add that dunny is slang (Aussie) for an outdoors toilet, William Pitt the Younger's father is the PM who insisted on the colonists paying for the 10000 (?) soldiers that would help protect them against the French and the Natives. I understand Prince George's father was probably against the protection being charged, Slavery in Britain had not existed since 1100. In 1772 a colonist's slave was freed in England (Somerset versus Stewart 1772) BA Mentioned Manchester with 60000 voters. He got that from "Thomas Paine, Rights of Man, 1791: The county of Yorkshire, which contains near a million souls, sends two county members; and so does the county of Rutland which contains not a hundredth part of that number. Glad you enjoyed it, EB, but there are better episodes to come in this series. I think most Blackadder fans will say that the last Blackadder series, Blackadder Goes Fourth is the best of the four series so lots more to enjoy and look forward to.
