I'm not going to ruin it for you but at the end of the series, they are doing more interviews with the cast and Winters says something which chokes me up every single time. An incredible group of men.

Great series, the interviews from The World at War are what make that series so iconic as far as I am concerned, also having the narration done by Sir Laurence Olivier and the theme tune also help.
