In this early access action we have the return of Matthew Beavis and his green-skinned loyalists of the Emperor taking on railgun fanatic Nick and his explosion inducing T'au. In this battle we will see what shoots better, battle cannons or railguns.

You can see how much love and imagination was poured into the Grot Guard. They are an absolute joy to look at. There are a few new units since their appearance in Season One so look forward to those.

Will Matthew's enthusiastic little toy green soldiers in their first game of ninth fall to the greater good? Watch and find out!

The Grot Guard are Back! Facing off against the T'au

A fan favourite, the Grot Guard are back! The green skinned loyalists face-off against T'au Nick who is back to playing his T'au. You can't help but notice the love Matthew Beavis has put into his army.

The intro is so good. I can't handle it.

AzgorhLegionary

Perhaps one of my new favorites. I love the energy both players bring. (And the exchange that JT and Nick had about splitting fire was funny)

Eduardo Buso

Nick love the list you bring, but c'mon bring more Forgeworld madness to the mix, we're already shafted as Tau why not bring a Y'vahra or R'varna to the mix??

Gareth Lane

one of the best games so far guys good effort and keep it up

Keyboard Athlete

I can feel my soul splitting with Nick's fire.

The Grot Guard!!! What a game, right down to the wire! Fantastic job guys! I'll say it every time I get an opportunity, Matt's army is stunning. Everything was fantastic from the armies, to the effects, and especially Nick and Matt, who are a blast to watch and the epitome of good sportsmanship. Loved every minute of it. Editor's notes: @10:07, score hasn't been updated yet, Matt should have 8 VP @17:53, Matt and Nick's primary object switches to "Sweep and Clear" @25:13, Nick's score should be updated @31:12, Nick's score should be updated before it is updated again (Primaries should already be added?) @40:30, I think Nick loses two models to a morale check on the right, but it's not shown @42:46, Matt's score doesn't add up to 47 @46:35, Matt's name is misspelled in the Credits?

Tyler

That was an awesome game.

Austin Monreal

That... intro. Wow. ASTOUNDING. I love you guys so much, AND YAY TAU NICK BACK WITH THE TAU!

Niko Miller

Great game. Those double 1's in the 4th was insane lmao

Sami Dib

Omg god that ending was so sad for Mathew, I was so puzzled on why he put his troops back inside the Truckz I was so happy I thought Guard were going take the W :(. Still an amazing battle report, and its nice seeing Tau Nicks win I gotta admit they are by favorite army in this channel.

Tyler Stevens

Amazing game! Great work and well played to both Nick and Matthew!

Augustus Neary

Always happy to see Nick win one, honestly has the best sportsmanship of anyone you'll see play the game. Always happy, never salty towards his opponent. Just makes the game awesome to watch and I'm sure to play. Also that Grot Guard army is truly a thing of beauty.

Grady McCormick

Beavis, NOOOO!!!! That was a stellar awesome game. As they say third time's a charm. I really hope Matthew returns in a future game or maybe in the season's final championship. Matthew, I love your army.

Jeramy Neeley

What song is it you guys play for the tau theme near the end at 40:31 . I literally am tempted to go out and make a stealth suit army JUST BECAUSE TAU NICKS TAU HAVE GOOD MUSIC!

Gue’Vesa Webb

Awesome game! Close the whole time, you just never knew who was going to take it until the end.

Adam Braakman

What a fun game with two great commanders. Australia represent! Well done all

Tom Lavery

I don't know if it's new but I love the pictures of the units that show up on the left side of the screen when they are being referred to in the battle

Jay Shae

Hugely entertaining, loved Steve's "cameo" as well.
