What happens when you have both Roboute Guilleman and Mortarion on the same battlefield? Will the Avenging Son have his vengeance or will the disgusting resiliency of Mortarion win the day?

Vallejo is the sponsor for this battle and both armies were painted with Vallejo. Tak has been painting his Ultramarines for a number of years now with Vallejo paints and when they released their mecha line of paints, with the mecha fluorescents, Tak knew exactly how he wanted to paint his Death Guard.

Of course in Episode 7 of 40k in 40m we have the Death Guard and the army is being piloted by Child of Chaos, Tycho.

Enjoy the show!

2026-09-05 20:00 This is why nobody likes to play against Death Guard. Morty is broken AF.

Awesome match as always. Epic to see two powerhouse models go toe to toe with each other.

Looks fantastic gents! Living up to the name of Primarch vs Pimarch!! Noticed at 17:17 the the Assault Intercessors are referred to as "Assault Aggressors". Just wanted to give you a heads up :D

And_Also_Aaron

Great bout! These last few battles have definitely been winning over converts to the church of Plagueburst Crawlers!

Augustus Neary

What an epic fight, pretty amazing seeing the only two Primarch models in a match up. Just wild how much more powerful the Deathguard list felt - even with the Dreadnoughts and everything the Deathguard still felt like OP point for point.

Augustus Neary

Yeah absolutely! Honestly seeing these cool moments with cinematic match ups is sometimes much cooler than the best tactical decision! I just hope the new Ultramarines codex comes out soon and we can have a true 9th edition rematch!

2026-09-05 20:00 Can you guys play with an astraeus in an upcoming report? Haven't seen one played since the Ultramarines Apocalypse battle.

Dude that intro was legit. Great job setting the tone for an epic battle!

Dale Preuss

Awesome game as always, but I'm curious, how were death guard able to shoot Guilliman on turn 3? From the camera's perspective it looks like he should've been in Look out, Sir range

Tomliginyu

As always fantastic work. Epic Intro JT! Beautiful armies. Beautiful editing. Might need to edit the turn symbol @15:46, still reads turn 1 going into turn 2.
