Goal Achieved: Manta strike inbound! 1000 Patrons! (Patreon)

We did it! 1000 patrons!  Completely crazy.  When we started this we were never sure that people would like it let alone be dedicated enough to support us directly!  We are honoured and excited! 

We had a goal to reach 1000 patrons and if so, we all promised Nick that we would buy a Tau Manta as a incentive.  The biggest model that games workshop creates.   I think the team at the time didn't think we would actually reach that...

But then... tragedy! 

Nooooooooo.   

All seem lost.  Hope died.  The sun dimmed.  But then..  It happened, It was back!

Now we can report that the button has been pushed!

And the Play On team couldn't be more excited.

Now we get to dream about how we are going to use it.

Congrats guys! You truly deserve to hit this milestone and so so much more. Every idea you posted sounds awesome. Especially a series on building and painting it or dare I say live stream paint sessions. I also fully support the idea of playing a killteam match on top of it. This could show that I don't know how big this thing is, but I think there could be a cool 40K scenario where some Imperium, Xenos, or Chaos force had infiltrated a T'au base to discover a Manta in the process of being built and the T'au have to defend it.

Would like to see a 40k apocalypse battle with Tua ( manta, KX139 with other big battle suits/ tanks) vs space marine ( warlords titans, big tanks) on are larger then normal terrane.

Or maybe a series off battles where with different army's with anti manta weapons, where tau drop ships need to defend and destroy the weapon. What ever army weapons succeed an special kill team bord the manta to finish the manta off from the inside

Awesome possums you guys! Can't wait to see how its used. Maybe do a story line mini series were the tau have to flee a plant? Or a long distance battle were the tau have to get to a objective (the battle field keeps moving) to bomb or extract a higher official? Just some ideas

Possibly all best played in Kill Team… but… genestealer infestation? Hijacking? Assassins sneak on board to take out an ethereal VIP in transit? I’m probably going to stop short of “Snakes on a Manta” (but the Dark Eldar do have those Sslyth fellas…)

I'd be excited to see anything with a manta. Build videos would be interesting to watch because I am starting to dabble with resin myself. Nick has really hyped the Kill Team on a manta idea and I'm sure the team could pull this off splendidly. But Apocalypse is my favourite to date. All the apoc battle reports are stunning and cinematic. The manta just fits in to those huge scale battles perfectly.
