We are finally playing with the new Guard codex and Nick is very, very excited. In to be part of this auspicious occasion is none other than Miniwargamer Dave. The energy is going to be high! The stakes are big!

Nick has all the new models from the starter set in this and has even brought the Deathstrike!

Dave is playing Chaos Space Marines for the first time in 9th and has Abaddon commanding his forces. There is even a very special Defiler in this battle.

This is one to be excited for!

The Tape Keeper

That effect showing the deployment zones was TASTY!

Colin Troan

Slight error at 0:46, part of Nick's title card overlaps with the astra militarum symbol. Also love seeing Dave on the channel.

Corellian Pirate

At 11:04-ish, the title of Raise Banners is Raiser Banners on the card.

Evan Fish

Failbadon achieved nothing

ThePipMonkey

There seems to be some serious "Steve touched dice" issues here.

Matthew Beavis

OMG how did you edit this so fast!? Amazing work!!!

Jeramy Neeley

When nick's dice were failing in turn 1 I was like " Welcome to the guard nick" because I swear, I get terrible rolls as guard but when I play my orks it's just flying dice all day.

DrkShdow

Nick would have been better off making his punisher the tank commander with those rolls

Matthew Beavis

33:40 Dave’s score should be 10 at his start of turn 2 (…and an F in chat for that one unit which didn’t do very well #nospoilers)

Jeron Diovis

Kadia stands!!! ...in the corner of shame. Dark gods really were alongside Abaddon in this game.

Sebastian Krause

And that's exactly how cadia fell... they only took down rhinos ;) (boi had big A known this before he had let his black crusades with *only* rhinos )

William Culverwell

You guys need any more minis for the deathwatch army? I wasn’t a Patreon when the whole creation went down but I’d love to paint and then send a mini you way if you guys were interested in doing a round two!

Will B

Ouch, I feel for you Nick. Maybe sacrifice a goat to the Dice gods before you play Dave again ;) It was cool to see the new guard in action though. Looking forward to the rematch
