Hey everyone!

I’m working on the next part of the story, and Daemon’s dragon needs a proper name. I have a few ideas floating around, but I want to hear from you first.

If you were choosing a name for Daemon’s dragon, what would it be?

Niraada

Albedo might be a bit on the nose, what with the white scales, but it feels pretty gender-neutral to me. (Not sure if the dragon is male or female) From mythology, Nike, Hera, Freyja or Ariel could be good for a female, while Typhon, Tyr or Baldr for male could be good. (If you decide to go with a mythological name, I'd personally vote Freyja, assuming it's a female)

I'm not a fan of giving dragons in Westeros non valyrian names. So my suggestions are: -Bantiqēlos (Night Star), a bit of a mouthful, but definitely unique -Sōnaqēlos (Winter Star), rolls off the tongue a bit better than Night Star, and my favorite of the names I've suggested -Sōvior (Snowy) or Sōnar (Winter), both of these are short and simple, but also a tad boring... Or if you prefer the tried and tested Targaryen dragon names -Gaelithox - God of fire, stars, moon, sun, and the dawn -Arrax - Ruler of Gods, law, order, justice, governance, and strength

How is the baby going to name a dragon? But yeah something Properly Valerian but still earthy like Falkorean or Falkorae for Falkor from The NeverEnding story because a little boy in Westeros needs a happy luck dragon who helps young heroes.

My vote is either: 1) Shrykos after the Goddess of beginnings, endings, transitions, and doorways. Or 2) Tyraxes after the Goddess of reason, wisdom, intelligence, skill, peace, warfare, and battle strategy.
