Please do not ever change yourself to meet another person's expectations. That path will just lead to unhappiness. This is probably what is happening to whoever spread that rumor about you. They are so unhappy in their own life trying to live up to another's expectation, they have to punch down in order to make themselves feel better for just a moment.

Honestly, seeing how your family reacts, it may be best to cut off from them completely, and tell your friends about it. I'm a family man myself, so I know such action may be hard, but seeing how taxing it is on you, to the point where you're holding back tears, it's probably the best course of action. It's likely jealousy, mixed with disbelief that reactions videos can earn your living. Doubt anything can be done, they may be too prejudiced to listen to reason. You're doing what you like for the living and that's a thing to rejoice. You’re a truly kind and empathetic person, anybody that would try to tear you down in anyway is just trying to bring you down to their level of misery. As the age old saying goes, misery loves company. Remind yourself everyday that you bring joy, happiness, stress relief, and a sense of comfort for sooo many people that you probably can’t even begin to imagine how many of us get genuine joy and entertainment from your content. There have been many times that I’ve been in a really bad place and watching my favorite shows “with you” has gotten me through some of the worst of those times because you put a smile on my face, make me laugh, and distract me from all the big problems in my life as well as all the little problems that daily life brings. I can only agree with the other comments. I can recommend the YouTube channel HealthyGamerGG. Although you seem mentaly very stable to me, the suffering you have is still real. You will find videos that help regardless, since his main goal is simply helping people who suffer. I can't recall the exact video, but I remember he had something about difficult relationship/communication with parents as well. Can only recommend. It helped me as well. Stay the way you are, you are amazing.

Hold on tight, sometimes shit happens in life. I understand what it's like. Talk to someone you care about and someone who continues to believe in you. When my father, who had never been interested in my life for many years (end did many terrible things), called me and asked, "Can I come to your birthday?" I just said, "No, you can't." I stopped communicating completely and did not reply to any messages, and it became easier for me. Now I stepped in another shit, I'm growing up and I realize that adulthood is not an easy thing. Every day, so much heaviness accumulates that you just want to fall asleep and never wake up. Although it's not like it's getting heavier... It's just that over time you notice more new things that are upsetting and that just can't be solved. You just have to keep living and squeeze all the good out of every day so that you don't notice the bad. You have us, we will support you in any situation. Heh... Probably not the most motivating speech...)) Anyway, I'm holding on and you're holding on, we're all going to stick together and everything's going to be fucking awesome. Before, when there was no Internet and people were going through much more terrible things alone, it was bad... In general, my charisma and intelligence are not leveled up, so I'll have to work on that)) I'm just sitting and crying in front of the monitor, it's too much life shit. I don't like it when good people cry, it's not fair. When I can't even really help. I do not know if this will help, but just hold on tight and enjoy even the little things that happens in your life. Bro i wish i could be there and give you a tight hug. Some people are just unconscious like that and it can suck especially when its family But remember you also have built and became part of a community who appreciates you and your work. You are not alone. It takes alot more courage to follow your heart, especially when you are going against preset expectations. Imagine following those expectations to study and become an engineer, then working 9-5, 5 days a week on something you don't enjoy. Not to mention there would be some other type of expectation of high salary or something at that point. Hard pass, you are at a better place.
