Tbh i always hated this episode .. this goody two shoes behavior is just annoying. Even if bad things happened to her why does that automatically mean the MC has to accept every betrayel and unfair play. Instead of shielding her, she should face the consequences of her actions and work it out.

Yeah also would like it that way I think but If he would say it, it would destroy his naive character trade and stand against his whole personality. So it also would be weird.

It's not about being naive or a goody two shoes I think Alice summarized it perfectly in episode 4 Ikki is too used to being hurt, he just accepts it because it's normal in his life. Doesn't mean he wont show up or punish malicious actors when the opportunity arises but this is clearly a different situation, it's not done out of ill will towards him, it's someone clearly desperate lashing out against whatever is in their way and he just so happens to be in the way, so he doesn't take it personal. Furthermore he knows what it's like to be desperate and feel cornered and he wants to help his friend that quite obviously is in that kind of situation and set them back on the right path.
