2025 in Review (Patreon)

Hello all! It's wuff~

Hope everyone had good holiday times and are starting off the year well, and that there can be many big'n'fun things!

Oki, so 2025... Maybe was a year of... Steadiness and stability? But maybe also of some exploring with my own art style without trying anything completely new (like with animations before).

I didn't quite go after revisiting past things and finishing them up, instead ended up more so just making new and more things to work on, some which also have been left unfinished along the way. I guess wuff can't quite gauge very well what is worth spending the time and energy in going back to and picking up or what is just fine leaving behind and being alright with that. That on top of... 'What to work on next?'.

This year exploring with how to make arts guess wuff discovered how to make things on artings in a few different ways without worrying as much about how (not) super polished things will be and going a bit more freeform. A bit more of a traditional approach, feel and way of doing things, but in digital media.

I feel I still have to discover that with animation also, if I want to try making any more of that without spending too much time and energy on things in unnecessary ways. And so animation wasn't something I felt comfortable doing much of this year.

Going forward wuff feels that it's important to continue doing and learning what wuff is already doing and learning. Keep up discipline and focus on what to work on, I mean... What is worth exploring and actively investing time and effort upon and when it's fine to leave something behind and keep moving forward.

Lots of things for sure are going on with us and around us regardless, and what we can try doing is our best, take care of ourselves and... Find a sparkle, some motivation, a goal, something to want to keep moving forward. And wuff isn't sure where a wuff might end up, but I really want and hope to keep bringing joy and being a lil positive something with what wuff does and wherever wuff goes.
