[ Description by SaintAbsol ]

Nathan, generally, didn't like to sulk.It wasn't that he was a very outwardly happy person, or even all that outgoing, but he didn't want to project an air of misery and bitterness around himself. Sometimes, though, life just decided it wanted to throw you to the ground and kick you in the face.Okay, that was a slight exaggeration, but he wasn't having the best day. His work had been pushing him extra hard lately, time always seemed short when he needed to get stuff done, and the every day stressors of life had been piling on him like he had personally done something to offend them. Even having the blessings of a handful of deities didn't always make everything perfect for him, especially since he usually refused such things, but that was just another thing to add to the despondency he felt: that he was the architect of his own suffering. Times like this, it almost drove him mad!The absol's fur stood on end, a strange sensation passing over him out of nowhere.Reality itself felt less... 'real' all of a sudden, as if he was viewing it through the screen of an old CRT monitor. Sounds warped and distorted as if from blown out speakers, and a general 'uncanniness' pervaded the area. Nathan was familiar with this sensation, he'd grown used to it in the recent months, thanks to the entity that accompanied it."Oh no; is someone upset~?" Her voice was... not truly 'wrong' in the sense that it made him uncomfortable, but unnatural; artificial sounding with just enough static in it to be noticed but not overpowering.Nathan didn't glance up, but around, focusing on the reflective surfaces or video screens in the area. He finally spotted a massive handpaw pressing against an animated billboard like a soft membrane, then emerging from the digital realm into the physical. It was an utterly surreal sight, seeing the skull-faced, inverted colored absol pull herself out of the screen. Even more so as her extreme hourglass figure bent and cracked the edges of the very screen she was exiting, and that no one save him was even reacting to her presence. Not that he expected anything else; he'd grown used to the antics the quasi-real entity who called herself 'Abs01' left in her wake. As far as he could tell, he was the only one who 'experienced' her 100% of the time, though she could force herself into reality for anyone else as well, and reality always glitched back to normal after she was done. She also always knew exactly where he was whenever she wanted to make an appearance, and how to cheer him up."Being so mad is no fun," she said, her hips and butt straining the billboard so much he could hear it screeching in protest. "I think you could use a little pick me up~" Her hand paw, with pads alone larger than himself, reached out for Nathan, blotting out the light overhead as her skeletal face somehow manages to widen its grin. And, despite himself, Nathan could help but smile back a tiny bit, his tail starting to wag. The day might not have gone so great, but at least it was going to end on a high note.
